thanks! some of that stuff looks great! anyone else? anything that actually can pass for turkey?

A lot of you suggested Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. I should mention I don't like the high impact stuff - for example the 30 Day Shred has a bit of jumping that bothers my knees. Is Banish Fat low impact like NMTZ? Thanks so much everyone!!! I'm feeling re-invigorated already :flowerforyou:

I am re-posting this to see if anyone would reply....nobody posted last time  Any suggestions??

Absolutely agree with you both! Everyone is different and the key is finding that perfect balance that works for YOU! Also noteworthy is the age thing! I'm 44 and weight loss is completely different for me now. So much more of a struggle. Thank you both for your comments :flowerforyou:

I do a variety of exercises: circuit training, spinning, elliptical. i do drink plenty of water, just don't track it. I know I eat a lot of cheese, but I keep my cals around 40% carbs, 30% protein and 30% fat. The reason there's so much cheese is that I don't eat meat so it's kind of hard to keep it low carb and still get…

i actually went up to 1500 for a couple months and that was a disaster. just recently tried to get back around 1200. sucks!

Wow! Great stuff! Question - what is "psyllium"?

a client gave me a couple packets to try. he swears by it. i'm just wondering if it can help me lose as i've been stalled in my weight loss for quite some time. i've been using it for a week or so and my clothes fit better. in reading up on the stuff, the supposed weight loss benefits derive from the chia seeds expanding…

question - before adding protein powder, were you not getting much protein in your diet?

OK. First of all - breathe. This is why I quit weighing! That scale has the power to impact not only your motivation but how you feel about every aspect of your life! Stay off that evil thing for awhile and after that, only step on the scale once every few weeks or even once a month. As far as the 5 pounds go - you are in…

1. I believe it will suffice as your weight training, yes. You may want to supplement for your "full body" days with her no more trouble zones. Longer and more thorough in my opinion. But no cardio to speak of 2. I take at least one day a week off, sometimes 2. Because of that, I'm not doing the 30 day shred in 30 days; it…

aha! see that proves it! the scale is just evil!!

Thank you for this cversey! I don't want to be a slave to that little machine anymore. It's amazing how it could completely affect my mood for the entire day! Good number - nothing can get me down. Bad number - my life sucks! I'm just gonna keep avoiding it!

Settle something for us? Ask your fiancee if the fries are vegetarian or are they cooked in animal fat?
-
Kathy - beware! I'm veg also and heard that McD's fries are fried in animal fat. I posted a question about that on this thread to a girl that works at McD's and haven't yet seen the response.
-
Hi Ashley! Question for you - are Mc D's fries fried in animal fat? I'm veg but love their fries!

i started day 1 of level 2 yesterday. awesome! i'm not doing it every day, more like 4 days per week and i do other stuff on the weekends. i am seeing results in inches (2" from my chest; 1" from my hips; 1" from my belly) but have not been weighing because everyone says the scale won't show the results when you're doing…

bahahahaha! too funny!!

love it! you're my kind of people! :drinker:

great tips everyone! thank you! amanda - i've been trying to get away from the processed stuff and for the most part try to eat only natural foods. the cheese snacks are actually just cheese, nothing processed and my only truly processed stuff i think is the ff cool whip and the sugar free pudding (helps me soooo much with…

i'm starting level 2 tomorrow but am not on it 7 days a week so it will take me longer than 30 days. i'm doing other cardio stuff too and her nmtz on the weekends because i find that one to be much more challenging and i have more time for nmtz on the weekends. i'm seeing results in inches lost. i have not weighed since i…

you're probably right about the cheese. i LOVE cheese and i used to deprive myself of it completely. since doing mfp, i realized i can eat more calories than i thought and since i don't eat meat, i feel like i can have cheese....but maybe i'm going a little nuts huh? and yes, i drink a ton of water. i should do more…

right?? i wasn't worried about my boobs but i've lost 2 1/2 inches there while my stomach still jiggles away! so aggravating!!!!!
-
cheese is my problem too. instead of depriving yourself or indulging in that grease bomb, do what i did today. i had a 1/2 sandwich slim with seasoned tomato sauce, mushrooms and a weight watchers string cheese shredded up on top. tasted like pizza and i wasn't bad at all!

OR....try the jello SUGAR FREE puddings! They're only 60 calories and i swear to you - I cannot tell the difference btwn the sugar varieties. I top it off with fat free cool whip and oh my so yummy! really helps when I need something sweet!
-
oh and i have a question - how long do you guys think we should stay at level 1? i didn't see anything on the dvd about that. is it just when you can do the whole level comfortably?
