I don't think that was the assumption. Most of my friends are late 20's and very few have kids and we were discussing why it seems that way.

I have plateaued in my weight loss and now I weigh-in every morning to see how yesterday's meals affected me. I generally weigh in the highest Monday morning and lowest Friday mornings. It shows me that what I eat specifically determines my weight.

I don't drink during the week and end up having a binge on the weekend. It's funny because you can see my weight loss chart go down and then spike every monday morning. Life it too short to not have fun as long as you are eating right.

Simple: don't eat the food. We have parties and food is brought into my office constantly. Just ignore it or eat some nuts which will give you good fats and keep you full. No shame in not eating it.

How is this a bad thing? My dad told me I was "getting a bit chunky" and then one day I realized he only wanted the best for me. I looked in the mirror truthfully and realized I was getting fat. So for me it worked. But I'm a guy... so?

honestly. binge drink. every morning after i binge drink i weight pounds less than when i went to bed. alcohol sucks up all the water in your body.

i was under protein because i literally just "upped" it today from 90g to 190ish. and i see you are very low in carbs - think i'll try to imitate that because i have way too many carbs.

I thought that but wondered what to eat because I don't want to get fat again. Is there something very specific I can eat (almonds, extra protein shake, etc) that will give me increased calories yet no fat?

At my heaviest I was overweight and a few pounds from obese but compared to everyone else around me i was the skinny one so they said I was skinny. 20 pounds later I am in the healthy range but still see fat to lose. people say "oh you don't need to workout". Jealousy I guess.

i just tell people i'm not hungry. no one questions that. but yeah, it seems the people who are the most unhealthy are the ones criticizing. just jealousy i guess. jealous they don't have the strength to fight through it.

saw my high school graduation picture next to my wedding photo and realized how much weight i gained in just 5 years. decided to lose 15 pounds and did it in about a 8 months. now i've plateaued at about an 18 pound loss.
