I feel 100 times better if my protein intake is higher than my carb intake (diagnosed as hypoglycemic at age 15). HOWEVER, it takes my body a while to adjust. Well I entered my stats from the link you provided and was happier with that than with my scale. I had my first real weight loss this week and my scale said my BF was HIGHER. But the link showed a BF decrease. Hmmmm

I was only logging my weight loss if I had it for a week but then I decided I was going to log every time I weighed. Even though I know my loss may be only water, I logged it today. BUT, I will log a gain in two days if it happens too. I think it's just personal preference? Whatever works for you :)

I love my vodka! LOL - but I have recently started drinking Skinny Sweet Tea Vodka- only 64 calories a drink. I mix with tea but some ppl like diet Sprite, or water. 64 calories a pop- yea, I can do that :)

No lying here. In less you count the fact that I just bought a food scale and realized I had been OVER estimating the amount of food I was eating. It really irritates me too when ppl assume I am not logging something since my weight loss has been nil.

I know runners who always 'fuel up' on pasta or something high carbs 12 hours before a race. I guess thats similar to this? I know I feel better working out after a fast (so I do it first thing in the morning) but I also have more energy if I had a bigger meal the night before. Maybe it's different for everyone?

I've worn HIGH heels for 20+ years- LOVE them! (Geez, I'm showing my age!) Start out wearing them around your house- cleaning or just watching tv, a few hours at a time. Better to wobble at home than at the restaurant/club. Then when you are comfortable you can wear them out :)

Best way I have heard it explained is that a lb of fat is about the size of a grapefruit while a lb of muscle is about the size of a tangerine. No different than say, gold. A 'brick' of gold weighs much more than a brick. Gold is more dense: muscle is more dense. Personally, I want GOLD in my body :)

Here is the 'flaw' I find with this idea---- BMR= 1263 TDEE = 1727 minus 15% = 1467 I set my goal to 1460 every day. When I work out, MFP adds these calories to my goal, raising it say to 1727. I do not eat my exercise calories (because if there is NO deficit, there will be no weight loss). Just as you said earlier----…
