I agree with some of the comments here. relaxing activity rather than a full workout will help reduce the cortisol and physical symptons of stress crock pot meals are great, so is roasting (easiest ever = chicken breast, baby potatoes, carrots and some chicken broth) a few comments of my own: fresh raw food is easy and…

fantastic! what a positive attitude you have, I'm sure you'll have continued insight and success! for me, I've been improving my health slowly and steadily for many years. as a kid I didn't enjoy sports at all so as an adult I keep trying new things. That effort to get out of my comfort zone has really pushed me to apply…

Hi! Lots of replies, hope you are too overwhelmed. I've been vegan for a year now, and have learned a lot about raw food and enjoy it alot. I feel fantastic most of the time compared to before. I also now never need to use any moisturizers for my previously dry, flaky and itchy skin. I am not tired at the end of 3 hour…

I would love to hear other people's ideas too...here are some things that work for me (sometimes) 1 making sure I have eaten all my fat and protein consistently 2 going for a walk, or dancing 3 doing something with my hands and brain like knitting, sewing, painting etc.

yikes!!!! hope you have a better lunch tomorrow!! and thanks for the chuckle, it's nice to see I'm not the only one who is sometimes absentminded!

I agree, nuts, seeds, lentils, beans and tofu are all good sources of protein, so is quinoa which you can use instead of rice in many dishes. I keep some vegan protein powder around for the days when I don't get enough. Mine is made from rice. if you are mainly avoiding red meat, you could have eggs or fish?

thanks 23elle, that sounds delicious. I made some this morning with just soaked almonds and water, it had so much more flavour than the brand available here. Even the unsweetened one has extra stuff in it like tapioca starch, salt, carrageenan, and lecithin. I'm just not sure how many calories, fat, calcium, or iron it…

great suggestions so far, you can also do some strength training like lunges and squats, and some ab work.

depending on what is wrong, of course, I would recommend a plank, you keep your body in a straight line you can use your hands or forearms, and either toes or knees. keep breathing, only hold as long as you can maintain the straight line. there are also a variet of standing ab exercises that I've learned from doing…
