I have to agree, as a married man to a beautiful and loving wife, the last thing I would want to do is flirt with you. I have plenty of female friends on here, and I don't flirt with any of them.

Eh, my faith has played a major role in my weight loss and fitness, so that's definitely subjective to the individual. However, I agree this is not the best way to get friend requests.

"You are the light of the world." - Matthew 5:14 You can't be the light of the world only accepting other Christians as your friends. You must be accepting of non-believers as well. I am extremely grateful that Jesus did not have this attitude towards others, if He did, you and me would not be able to be Christians.

As a Christian male, I find this post sexist, offensive, and exclusionary. ;)

Bad logic. MFP sets you at a deficit to lose weight without working out. MFP does not trust you to work out, this is why they recommend you eat back your exercise calories. If you are set to consume 1200 calories to lose two pounds a week, and you burn 500 calories in a workout, and you eat back those 500 calories, then…

*facepalm*, ignore this advice, pleeeeeaaaasssseee.

Cheese, avocado, peanut butter, flax seed, olive oil, *REAL* butter, whole milk, full fat yogurt, bacon, bacon, and some more bacon.

The benefits are minor to non-existent. I run 30 miles per week, and I find I have much more energy if I run after I eat. I feel that cardio after eating is much more beneficial due to your energy level being greater, just my experiences though.

Regular Buttermilk Ranch :D

Isn't this bigoted towards bigots? Jk, good luck on your journey.

Congrats! I completed C25K in April of 2012, and have ran in multiple 5K's, 10K's and 2 half-mary's! Just keep increasing from where your at and you will do amazing things you never thought you could do! You're an inspiration!

Absolutely! It's hard to argue with results, if it works for you, do it!

I used Google once to research some symptoms I was having and ended up diagnosing myself with Lymphoma, Fibromyalgia, Acid Reflux, and I think I might have been having a heart attack as well. ;)

Welcome to MFP, this site is full of rude people. :D

Great job Mary, I am honored and blessed to be one of your 35 friends. You are an inspiration to us all! :D

Not sure about Insanity, but I am half-marathon training. Running 25 miles per week, I eat 3200 calories a day, at 5'10" and 160 pounds, and am losing about half a pound to a pound a week. The reason I say this, is that I have heard that Insanity is very intense. It is very possible you would have to eat that much and…

Even though I have only been married for a little over 3 years, I really appreciate the nature of this thread. I would never bash my wife the way some people bash their spouses on here. :D

While I agree there needs to be better communication, and your husband needs to be more supportive, the whole "you need a new husband", and "you need a new man", reveals why there is such a divorce epidemic in this world. I have learned that it is not wise to seek marital advice of ANY kind from anyone on MFP, and to seek…

Bump for later!

I purchased my FT7 on amazon for 75. It records calories burned, time I was in target HR zone, etc. It comes with a chest strap so it gives a continuous heart rate reading.

Not sure you will accomplish what you want accomplish in only 2 weeks, but squats and running will help over time. I HATE squats, but I do them because they are beneficial, not because I like them. :D

You mean, low carb diet, right? Tell me you're not seriously going to try to cut out all carbs?
-
Ah, but he didn't say a pound of muscle weight more than a pound of fat. :D

I'm a strong 2 and I married a 12! I guess I should stop being so shallow ... ;)

1-9. Bacon 10. Bacon

Sometimes it's not pity you need, but a swift kick in the backside. You know the difference between a winner and a loser? Winners never quit.

Bacon is the answer.

Being married myself, I would never work with a female personal trainer. I would never cheat on my wife, but I'm not dumb enough to put myself in a situation where I could, thinking I'm strong enough not to. I would always opt for a male trainer.

Obviously, this person should never be any kind of marriage/relationship counselor. Insecurities can be a big part of a relationship, and unless those insecurities get out of hand (abuse, controlling attitude, etc), a measure this drastic should not be taken.
