Just keep telling yourself that YOU CAN DO THIS!!!! That is what I tell myself all the time. Trust me it does work. Just keep coaching your brain with positive words and you will get there. I always set little weekly goals for myself. It is not so much about the big number in the end, it is the little numbers that got you…

No not really any kind of special diet, just focusing more on low fat foods. Like for instance....sausages (normally very high in fat and calories) I discovered that they now make turkey sausages so I substitute. Also, I made the switch to whole grain breads, cereals and pastas. I avoid sugar, however I allow myself to a…

Thank you everyone for the reassurance! It really does mean a lot. I think that what keeps me going is setting little weekly goals. It almost feels as though those little goals are really attainable and before you know it you are at a major goal. Rest assured I am eating all of my calories, at some times I even binge a…

I've noticed that I no longer get any cramping and the length has shortened considerably. 3 days tops, usually with 1 light day and two medium flow days. I think my whole outlook on my monthly guest is good now. 3 days isn't so bad :) I have also noticed it comes like clockwork, right down to the hour.

I wasn't quite sure how it was going to feel and whether there would be any pain involved. But for the most part it really wasn't that bad! Yes, there was a little bit of cramping, but it wasn't…

I am a twice a day person. First thing in the morning and before I go to bed. I have figured out that if my weight is the same at bedtime as it was in the morning I can usually expect a loss the next morning. It kinda keeps my snacking in check too. Some people say I am being too hard on myself, but I don't think so. I…

Northern Ontario here. I'm down 56 so far, but would really like to lose another 54. I don't know what it is lately, but something really seems to be draining my motivation. We have had really crappy weather for the past week and a half, so maybe that has something to do with it. Or maybe just an impending TOM. Either way,…

Hope its not to late to join this challenge...My weight on Sept 1st was 195.2. I don't think that 5lbs will be much of a problem, since my usual monthly average seems to be about 12lbs. I am only hoping to lose about 8lbs this month. So I hope that everyone can accept my goal even though it is above the 5lb challenge. So,…
