I like to keep frozen fruit around for smoothies. Just add them to the blender still frozen and you won't need ice. You can also add unsweetened apple sauce to thicken it up a bit.

I would recommend calculating your BMR and TDEE and finding the number on your own. There are different free calculators on-line. If you use the BMR #, eat back your calories. If you use the TDEE #, don't eat them back (but remember to reduce this amount by XX% is trying to lose).

I looked at your diary and it looks like you don't eat dinner, but snack on candy and chocolate instead. Try eating a solid dinner or trading out your candy snacks for nuts, boiled eggs, cheese... healthy and calorie dense foods.

I did one near Austin, TX in October

...salisbury steak, ,meatballs, stuffed shells, any casserole (rice based/lasagna/mexican), breakfast tacos, omelette (sp.), pitas, soup (italian or mexican), little empanadas, quesadillas, homemade hamburger helper-type meal, stroganoff seasonings still go well with ground venison...

Probably because everyone's hungry

some of the foods listed actuslly say 'raw' in the description. If you use those it simplifies things.

squats and lunges, squats and lunges :)

Just remember, take baby steps. One small change at a tiime. Get used to one change before you make another. If you try too much too soon it can make success that much harder.

My 2 cents...find a new habit. If you're stressed (or whatever the trigger is) create a new response. Train your body over time to 'crave' something new. Try walking around your office building, or chewing on a pencil, or chewing gum, or doing push-ups....sounds rediculous but it helped when I quit smoking. Just find a…

Several years ago I was at a chinese buffet when I saw 2 rats run across the dining room and under our table. If they were comfortable to come out with people there eating, what were we not seeing...

I love the fat2fitradio site. Funny thing though, I used all of their calculators (even downloaded the app to keep up with them) and I'm still at 1260 cals for 1/2 lb loss and hardly more than that for maintenance. The price for being short :)

How is your appetite? I've noticed a few things: you're inconsistant with meal size, you don't show any snacks, and you have high sodium meals. Have you tried adding in the occasional snack? Or adjusting when you eat your larger meals to see if that changes anything? (I've noticed I over-eat at lunch if I don't have a big…

I guess it depends on what you consider a 'cheat meal'....over your calories? or just not healthy? maybe out of the ordinary? Whatever works for each person...

I just got some in the mail this week but haven't tried it yet. Maybe I'll have some peanut butter oatmeal tomorrow and try it!

I also agree with everyone who says to check out other calculators to make sure that's the correct amount. My calorie intake is set at 1260, but I've verified that every which way to make sure I'm getting enough. I love to eat and have no desire to deprive myself of anything!

Hi! I'm short (5'2") so my calories are on the low side. You can send me friend request if you'd like to look through my diary for what I eat. It's an adjustment, but I've found a way to eat healthy and a lot of what I want.

Oatmeal- quick oats cooked with a little peanut butter and cinnamon and top with honey Anything that involves a banana or peanut butter goes great with honey. I regularly make a piece of toast with PB and honey for a sweet snack.

Crock Pot- with either 1 jar of salsa for tacos or Franks hot sauce for a 'buffalo' chicken Pound out the chicken breasts and roll them around a small amount of goat cheese and spinach and bake Make baked chicken strips in the oven using a light coating of bread crumbs- finish with broil to make them crispy Wild rice,…

I just dropped off 4 pair of slacks at the seamstres yestereday to have them all taken in. Only $10 a pair and it'll be like a new wardrobe. The good thing....I'm in between sizes anyways so these will actually fit. I just had my wedding band downsized a few months ago. I'm now a 4.75!

I love it...and I love how 'normal' you are. You're doing routines anyone can do. You're eating like normal people do. I'm going to start following your fitness blog. Thanks for posting.

I love that one!

Funniest comment on here...and I have the same problem. 2 little girls pacing around me and a bearded man always trying to 'assist' in everything I do.

I'm a little biased, but the Arctic Enema was the worst for me. The Boa Constrictor and the underground tunnel made me nervous and I hesitated, but they only hurts the knees a bit. When I got the ice water, I had to fight off a panic attack. I'm so glad I didn't go on Sunday. That cool front blew through and the sun never…

The map they post on their site is pretty accurate, but they post the real map with obstacles in order a couple of days before the event. They seem to be pretty similar across the board. The monkey bars are the only thing I couldn't do so I ended up swimming. That wasn't a bad thing really because it felt so good to rinse…
