  • Grand Bend here...
  • Yes this was a New Years Resolution for me as I'm sure it was for many others. You are an inspiration to more people than you will ever know. Great job with the pics, they tell the story. Congratulations!
  • Hi Friendships created on this site are a great source of strength and encouragement along this path we have chosen to travel. I joined for a second time on January 2nd and approached it very differently this time. 18 pounds down so far and I have not felt deprived at all. Good luck and add me as a friend if you wish
  • You are so right. It is a journey and one well worth taking. Keep up the good work.

Frozen grapes with a sprinkling of crystal light are yummy as are pepperidge farm zesty chilies and lime crackers with a tablespoon or two of guacamole dip. I find…
  • The next 6 weeks can be great if you just eat sensibly and be accountable. I lost 15 pounds in January alone and I did not feel deprived in the least. Log what you eat daily and stay within your calorie limit and watch the magic happen. Good luck and congratulations. I know you will be beautiful on your wedding day…
  • Started January 2nd. Down 15 so far. First week dropped 5 pounds. Would like to average 1.5-2 pounds a week until I reach my goal .

My daughter has battled her weight for years and has found eating clean is the answer for her as she has maintained her weight loss for about 3 years now. Personally I cannot eat this way and I find calorie counting works best for me…
  • Yes to your question. I started January 1st and am pleased with my results . The key to this is logging your meals daily and developing friendships within MFP. Add me if you like.
  • I weigh myself every morning. If I've had a day where I've eaten a little more, say on the weekend I will wait a day before I weigh. As a rule I do not lose at this time but neither do I gain. Also I take my measurements every other week and a picture once a month. I have also started an album where I record everything.…
  • Hi Sherry I to am "back at it" after an absence of a few months. I am more determined than ever to get this weight off and have lost 7 pounds since January 2nd. Thirty five to go..... You are not alone in this and we can all encourage one another on this journey.....
