Thanks! I figured I would do some extra warmup and find out how the 50 kg felt. Good point paring it with DL didn't think about that and yes I understand that I'm gonna get stronger doing back squats over time. Separate progression it is!

Sounds like you really might be looking for functional strength rather than big muscles. Calisthenics guys don't usually get big muscles but can be strong as h**. But then again I don't know if it's harder or easier to gain strength than muscle mass. Me I'm still gaining strength on calorie deficit and newbiegains.

This^^ I did some high rep bodyweight workout after the lifting session's at first but I ended up being too tired not feeling recovered to the next session. But I'm not that experienced (or strong) so why not try out what you think would work for you. Good luck!
