Mary!! I, too, just jumped on today after a long long time to see how folks are doing. So happy to see you on here  . You have made great strides! Maybe you're up on some weight, or have stayed the same, but the fact that you have more stamina is huge. The important thing is that you are making progress. Just this…

Hello dear MFP friends! Thought I'd check in real quick...from what I'm reading this group is rocking it with encouragement and continued goal setting, etc. I hope to get back one day but between sewing, quilting, and two other workout/weight loss groups, etc. I've had to slow down in this group. But I do get on and read…

Greetings! I know it has been a long while since I was on here...I have been taken up with a couple of groups more related to our son who recently graduated from Air Force basic training. It was quite unfortunate that the virus made its appearance while he was in training. His group of nearly 800 were the first to not be…

Before moving to Boise (Idaho---western part of the US) we lived in upstate NY outside of Albany in the Adirondack foothills. We took several trips to Boston and the NY area where you last visited. It is quite lovely out there. The falls are spectacular with the burst of color everywhere.

How is Saskia? So, I totally visualized you and the children ambling down the road. You are so great, Bex. You do what you have to ..you are a great example of "it is what it is" and do what needs to be done. Hope Sakia feels better. And I think you got your exercise in today!!!!

A saltless cracker??!! UnTHINKable!!! :D

Okay, I am going to equate this to Gordan Ramsey as I have no idea who JO is, lolol And what the heck are cream crackers? I wonder if that's what we call a butter cracker here in the US...round, sometimes rectangular, buttery cracker?

I use oats in my meatloaf as well.

As the end of 2019 approaches, I decided I want to finish the year well. I needed a goal and what I want to do is get rid of the 7lbs that I regained this year. Now that I have a goal, I need a plan, because as everyone knows: So, I went back and looked at what I was doing that lead me to lose 30lbs and found key…

Tomorrow we begin a new Bible Study called Weight Loss God's Way! I sent out an earlier notice...this is the last one. It's for 21 days. No pressure from the website (Bible.com) to continue on or to pay money, etc. It is, obviously, Bible-based, but all are welcome. The daily devos are fairly short---you can share comments…

I like your JFT's. Very specific. I know very little about depression and anxiety such as yours. But I do know this: You are important. You Are Loved. You Are Not Alone Keep coming on here whether you have are having a good bad upside down or sideways day.

If you type it in the search box you can do sample days to see if it's something that will interest you. I have already done this study---it was the seed that got me…

@snowflake1968 I bought some ornaments at the Dollar Tree yesterday and they could really be enhanced with the use of the wood disk. Mine are made from heavy cardboard. One side has red plaid on it and then a glittery border (you could do rick rack, etc.) and then in the center is a tree or a snowflake or a…

What Bex said! It is so true...my countenance is so much better when I am moving along on my health journey. It's not just because my clothes are looser but I feel better physically and emotionally. I'm not eating the yuck food that does mess with my brain (or so "they" tell me!). Spiritually and emotionally, it is so…

@Faebert, I found myself struggling as well...for quite a while. I had lost momentum and purpose. I cared. I didn't want to regain all that I had lost. But I quit putting much effort into. I just tried to maintain my weight. And then something, not sure what, helped me to turn around. I think I just got scared, lol! I…

Bex, I'm glad your arm seems to be okay. It's hard being family sometimes. I hope you find rest and peace today and that something will spark some joy into it.

You are going great guns, woman!!! Wowie Zowie, I had NO IDEA of your weight loss accomplishment. Go, Joan! And look at how much you've grown in other ways.
