IF is what helped me too. It isn't easy by any means but it helped me realize that I could control my behavior. A challenge so to say. I no longer do IF but still have the ability to control myself. Aside from the other good suggestions the truth is, you have to really want to stop. There is no magical ingredient that will…

Anything from Tiffany's works for me. I usually find exactly what I want and post it on the fridge. My man has Aspergers and probably would buy me a Nintendo Game (that he would then proceed to sell on his Ebay store.) So, I don't take any chances :-)

I checked out the Lululemon website and I was not impressed. The only item I might order from them would be a nice yoga mat. I have found sexier workout wear at Kohls, JC Penney, and Victorias Secret. Nothing wrong with wanting to feel sexy. I like fitted work out clothes because they are usually better for moisture…

I have the uncanny ability to change the toilet paper roll. In the dark. Both bathrooms. Under 10 seconds. Doesn't SEEM like much, but apparently no one else in my house knows how to do it.

I buy almost everything fresh and if I don't use it, I clean, cut and freeze it. Especially berries. They are too expensive to be tossing every week. I use them to make fresh sorbet or smoothies or froyo. I'm not saying wait until they are moldy and then freeze them. The veggies you freeze.. you can cook with like any…

Me too! You are an adult and shouldn't have to explain anything to them..unless of course they want to try it themselves. From the sounds of your post they aren't open to that. My family eats ground beef most days of the week and ALL of them have had their gallbladders removed including my younger brother who is 23. As…

Many people will probably reply hard candies or Orange juice but any endocrinologist I have worked with has said peanut butter. The key to feeding hypoglycemia is to always mix complex carbohydrates with protein and a little fat. Plain carbs metabolize into sugar quickly and will cause you to feel very tired, as your body…

I just want to add to this post that just because someone is skinny, does not mean they are healthy. It does not mean they are following the advice thye are telling you. They could be eating 2500kcal of pizza and ice cream every day.

Thanks for sharing!

Crossing my fingers this works..

I uploaded a pic to my profile. Unsure how to add them here? ETA.. I also added a few spoonfuls of wheat germ to my next batch. My girlfriend made these but she mixed by hand and they were not as good. Important to blend mix until smooth.

Yea, I think a lot of people took that offensive based on the replies. It is just rude. You clearly have nothing positive or any valid comments to add. I feel sorry for you. I hope you are more mature when you are answering your 911 calls. (sucks to be you?)

[/quote] I'm sorry you had such a stressful experience in your time there. It sounds like there were understaffing problems. IN MY EXPERIENCE, it is a less stressful environment. Don't act like I'm dumb and tell me I'm "sadly mistaken" because I know what I've observed and I know what I've experienced. I don't know why…

I hope that one day, in your time of need, a nurse takes her lunch break and leaves you to fend for yourself. Let us know how that works out for you. Oh, let me guess..YOU are perfect and will never need a nurse, right?

Amazing how so many people are quick to judge nurses and doctors. I am a nurse and I take care of people in their most embarrasing, troubling times. Do I judge them and laugh when they can't wipe their own a**? No. Do I judge them when they need to be treated for herpes or HIV? No. Most of all..do I judge anyone because…

I agree with the other post. Tell him nicely, but don't expect his eyes to open and for him to put his beer down. People will not change their habits until they are ready. Griping at him and getting emotional are not going to help. When is the last time he has stepped on the scale? My bf gained some weight a few months ago…

Sounds like you are being a little over sensitive. I am always asking my friends (skinny or otherwise) to work out with me. It is fun and I usually work out longer. You say no one knows you are trying to lose weight but it can be obvious if you have changed your habits around people you see everyday. At least you have…

Well considering the dentist couldn't give me ONE valid reason to remove the top 2, neither could the oral surgeon or MD I'm thinking I will keep them. Dentists typically tell everyone to have all 4 removed. I was curious to know if anyone had made the decision to only remove the teeth that were bothering them. Btw I am a…

I was thinking the same.

Your doctor is an asshat. Nurses get a rest in the OR? I DOUBT IT. Sounds like the nurses knew what they were talking about in the first place and he just didn't want to admit it. Common in the hospital.

I worked ONE day at a daycare and I cried the entire way home and never went back. I know how you feel. I had a class of 14 3 year olds and I couldn't keep up much less teach them anything. When work makes you upset enough that you are crying or depressed it is time to move on. Props to teachers. I'lll stick to nursing.

I'm right here (in Debary.) :-)

This made me LOL. :-)

Yep. See a Dr. 2 weeks is a long time to be "feeling miserable."

Bump for later.

I know plenty of "know it all's." When I get unsolicited, unwelcome advice I simply smile and say "Bless your heart." Then walk away.

Very interesting. :x OP..Night sweats are very common. One sleep study I just read showed 46% of participants suffered from night sweats. While seemingly harmless it can be an indication of a very serious medical condition. Please do not take advice online. (Especially the advice above.) Go see your doc!

I haven't tripped in a while but I did fall over on my bike yesterday while trying to take a picture of the sky (there was a storm brewing.) I laughed at myself and peddled on. Elderly people falling? There is NOTHING funny about that.
