I don't think you really need to build that quickly. I I've only run more than 13 twice and that was for my fulls. I have run Sat Sun back to back halfs. I'm just not convinced you need to build to 22 miles pre marathon..

You will be fine. I didn't go to maintenance. I use store brand jelly beans for fuel during the race and hopefully they have Gatorade or gu brew on the course.

I don't wear many skirts but wear under armor compression shorts when I run. That might work for you. Also try body glide.

I started at 330 and honestly it took way longer than a week to condition my muscles. Intervals, KT Tape and ice are your friends. But anything is possible I started 13 months ago and did my first Marathon today.

One other thought. Pick a 10k out in about 6 weeks. Register and pay for it. Find some runner buddies and make your running social.

Add about 10 percent per week max. Run the early part of your run easy. Most of it is psychological. So do a few normal runs and one long run. Even if you need to do intervals. I started walking in April 2012 and couldn't run a 5k straight through until September? But I quickly got to 10 miles after that.

Some of that was a tribute to Jeff a former MFP er and Royal Order hat holder who is off MFP for personal reasons. Consider cutting the girls some slack today, they were close with Jeff and seeing all the hats made them miss him more.

I need an actual study, but I'm sleeping better. Getting diagnosed and adjusting was hard, but I doubt I could have lost weight without CPAP
