I started running a few years ago myself. Before then I NEVER ran at all. What really helped me was to break it up into 5 minute increments. At the beginning I would run 1 minute and walk for 4 minutes...repeat, repeat. As time progressed I would change the ratio to run 2 minutes, walk 3 minutes; run 3 minutes, walk 2…
