Yellow Pinto. BUT FATTER.

I'm not the only one! I really don't know how they continue to make albums. -_-
-
I always feel awkward about that too and just realized it after reading this--one thing is, that for me, I can lose up to 25 pounds and most people no be able to tell a difference at all. So maybe I'm sensitive about that....
-
Honestly, I don't care about what other people and what they do enough to really care. People are gonna do and think what they want to, and I am not interested in wasting energy trying to correct the misinformation of the world.

I do have to say--I DO feel like a lot of people glorify being sore, or belittle those who don't work so hard they are sore or throw up. I mean, I guess that's enjoyable to some? Maybe I'm just a wimp. Actually, I am a wimp. But I mean--I knew that.
-
I started to weight lift recently--first time I was SO sore for three days after. Every since been fine immediately after. I went up in weight yesterday, and I'm a BIT more sore than I have been, but not horrible like the first time. I have also been told not to worry about soreness or the lack of soreness--a LOT of things…

I eat the regular GoLean Kashi cereal--it has 13 grams of protein. That gets me really hot.
-
Well, I figure I will do this for four more weeks, see if I feel stronger, and then work on adding in some more compound stuff (or probably substituting). I guess I will also look at results in the next month or so...honestly, I'm not sure I'm doing enough to get anywhere at all, but trying to be optimistic and patient.
-
I let things slip at 11. I don't know what I was thinking. I had no foresight back then. *sigh*
-
I can't believe how different you look in that short of a time. That's amazing.

The only thing I use machines for are a chest press, shoulder press, leg extension, leg curl, and preacher curl. I use cable for three exercises, and then I have 3-4 exercises with free weights. There are a lot of isolations involved. I just don't know if I have the mentality/personality for this kind of thing--to make any…

I mean, to be honest, this whole weight training thing confuses me. It's like, people say you should go slow and not push yourself, and yet you hear a lot of people talk about things like no pain, no gain or really struggling to get final reps out. I don't ever do that, so far. If I can't do it without possibly dropping…

I don't know...that guy seemed really concerned and nervous when I asked about them, like he was scared I would hurt myself. There is probably something majorly wrong with me that I don't know about...
-
Yes, I ate two Miniature Snickers.
-
Well, I asked--they have this thing they called a "power rack" and a thing called a Smith Machine. The guy got REALLY nervous when I asked about them. He must have thought I was planning something...
-
I think they have that--I will ask when I go tomorrow to make sure, though.
-
Yes, but it's very small, and I'm not sure they have all the equipment I might require. I DO think they probably have the stuff I would need for something like Stronglifts 5 X 5--I downloaded some information on it yesterday, and TRIED to begin to get it (I have information processing issues). The only thing is that I…

Yeah, I kind of mentioned I was being facetious...even my "goal weight" of 135 I have listed on here is a joke. The lowest I've ever been was 165, and while I admit it was a 165 with very high body fat, I didn't feel like I looked anywhere close to what I expected at that weight. I really have NO idea where I should be at…
-
I think I would find that horribly embarrassing.
-
I'm 5'9". Or 5'10". I was being a bit facetious, though. And yeah, I guess 120 is probably considered incredibly low to a lot of people.
-
I don't go any higher than 4.0 mph on the treadmill. I begin by walking on a very steep incline. I'm going to be using a HRM starting this week during these sessions to help me determine where my heart rate is (I have no idea about that sort of thing at all, a device will help me feel more secure in gauging my body) and to…

Thanks everyone. Sorry I'm so whiny. I probably understand this stuff better than I think, it's just hard for me to believe that people actually understand it less than I do. I think I know what I need to do, I'm just not ready for certain things, or people think I am talking about something else or someone else's body…

I would like my arms and chest and legs a bit more muscular. I am trying to begin lifting right now (but doing all the "wrong" things, because right now, they are what I feel comfortable with). I just don't know how to approach the whole deficit/strength training/cardio/fat loss thing.
-
But CAN I do cardio? I mean, two times a week for about 20 minutes? It won't be detrimental, right, since there is really no reason for me to try and bulk since I need to be on a calorie deficit...
-
So, no cardio, eating good. I can do that--I guess. I think I have been eating pretty well.
-
I guess I shouldn't worry about the getting "stocky" thing, because I am on a calorie deficit, but I don't know.
-
I've tried reading those things, but they are very hard for me to understand--I think I have a learning disorder. And whenever I talk with people about me lifting weights, they automatically say, "So you are trying to bulk up." I guess that phrase just makes me nervous, because I know a lot of guys who are VERY strong, and…
-
And yeah, I have no idea what my goals are. Everyone seems to automatically assume it should be bulking up or getting stronger. And I don't think I'm interested in either for their own sake.
-
I don't understand all the TDEE, BMR, body fat % stuff. I don't think I have the education.
-
Especially if I am eating exercise calories back...
