That's another thing: if you have a lot of muscle, you are going to look fine at up to whatever weight, honestly. A lot of guys have more muscle than I do, so when they hear that I think I should shoot for 155 or below, they think I'm crazy....
-
I don't think 155 is out of the question--I think at 155, unless I start lifting, I will still be kind of fat. But I have a high body fat percentage and very low muscle mass percentage.
-
I mean, isn't it kind of depressing when you realize that--maybe not--I'm more apathetic. But I could have huge arms and a six pack, and I'll still be weird as hell. :)

I am at a point where I don't really know...

First, my main goal is to lose my other 28 pounds. I think I am probably going to have to be super strict and work out really, really hard to get there, where most people wouldn't really require that much effort. I wouldn't say my pain is shin splits or anything like that--just muscle pain, from muscles being worked that…
-
I've lost the 22 pounds so far without exercise, but I think it's going to be necessary for me to reach the rest of my goal.
-
It's not necessarily that I want to push myself harder. It's just I'm not sure how to figure out the amount of effort required for the results I want.
-
Rock. Probably...Nickelback.
-
I do. But honestly, I'm not sure how much it bothers me. I apparently have a pretty high pain tolerance. I'm not a person who is very tuned into their body.

I used to only get a haircut twice a year--can you imagine? One of my goals for this year was to make sure I got more frequent haircuts. I would say I've probably averaged one a month this year.

My elbows.

Finished Day 2 of Week 1 last night. It's not horrible I guess, but very difficult for me. I don't get the people who say running and exercise feel amazing. I think they may be insane.

I swear by the menstrual cup. Try it if you haven't already. It will change your life.

Sitting here, thinking of what to do. Being a bit introspective. Thinking about some of the changes I want to make. I always feel as if I'm squandering my time--I kind of always want my free time to be useful to me in some way. Or useful to my goals. I spend so much time on autopilot. Seems like I will probably end up…

I sound like an elderly American woman/Sylvia Plath. A friend writes, "You have a similar voice to an elderly American woman who joined us on a tour of Lancaster castle. "One would think", she said as she began a sentence. I don't know who she was trying to kid." And another acquaintance, ""Frankly, your reading voice is…

Everyone is pretty supportive. People sometimes act like I'm silly for wanting to lose weight--but they honestly don't have to look at me in the mirror naked, so their opinion doesn't matter. :)
-
From what I've read from other people, apparently most MFP exercise logs are way too high! And, I think I agree with that assessment based on what I've seen myself.
-
I don't think I'm very good at this game--to me, you all look like your own beautiful selves.
-
I don't think I want any--I'm much too selfish for children. Of course, people do change--luckily in my case, accidents do not happen, so it would have to be a very premeditated choice.
-
I try to accept people's goals--a lot of people give me a hard time for wanting to lose weight. As long as people are hurting themselves in very drastic ways (it's debatable that we are all hurting ourselves to some extent), I see no issues. We all carry weight differently, feel different mentally and emotionally at…

Alright, thanks. Ordered and should be here in the next week.
-
Well, I was just going to wait until this fall and have it analyzed, but maybe I will just go ahead and get some calipers and try to do it myself. It would be very helpful to know, I suppose.
-
I don't know. But now I want some. Thanks.

I kind of wonder what kind of frame I have--if I do the whole, measure your wrist things, it's small. But I have this very large ribcage! It's very odd. Right now, I have a 38" waist and I can't imagine someone having a 30" waist or even a 34" waist! I changed my goal to 140, which is scary, frightening and depressing,…

This actually makes the most sense to me. I do need to get a a pretty small size, then start worrying about gaining mass, I guess. This fall, I'm gonna start working with a personal trainer and have a thorough fitness assessment done, but until then, I feel kind of scared to exercise. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but…
-
I guess in my mind it seems like I need to lose more weight and then gain weight by adding muscle? But maybe you are supposed to do both as the same time? There are a lot of guys with lots of muscle mass, but with also a lot of fat. But I guess a lot of people say that lifting weights can help you get rid of fat as much as…
-
Well, I think I could probably go a lot farther--I think most people are imagining guys with an average amount of muscle mass, and I don't think I have that--so I think going down a few pounds below 155 is not unreasonable at all.
-
I had this idea that I would go to the park and run...not happening!
-
I would pay one of the scary muscle guys on this site to come live in your house and break your legs if you try. Or something like that.

You are so pretty. I pretty much hate you. <3
