  • I hear you. But just know there are other's (like myself) who might fall to frustration easier because of their slower progress but I choose not to. You see my 7 lbs right? It is only driving me further to GET IT DONE even if it has me experimenting with everything until I "get it". Imagine this: I realized I totally…
  • I just purchased this yesterday. It wouldn't hurt to try it out is my suggestion. I am a little discouraged personally by it because they do not focus on calories in vs. calories out. More, ratios of carbs/proteins/fats per meal. It is very much clean organic eating. I am not agreeing with what they are telling me is my…

  • Your cheeks are narrower in the second pic :)
  • I picked out an outfit one day I thought was cute. Someone had take a picture directly behind me of playing with some kids. I was just standing and holding a paper. I never imagined THAT was how big I really was. That was part 1. Part 2: I was getting ready for an event one morning and mind you, I have plenty of clothes.…
  • Thanks for both suggestions. Sapalee, wow! I never even heard of this but thanks for sharing the link...i think I'll ask the bartender for maybe both! :)
  • How much weight are you trying to lose? A lot of the trackers show high numbers for people who had a lot of weight to get off. Depending on how much you weigh now and how much you are shooting for will depend on how quick your progress. The less you need to lose, the slower it will be to get off. I began working out about…
  • About a year ago when I had lost about oh 30lbs, I was eating every 3 to 4 hours. I don't know why I haven't started doing that again. But it really really helps your metabolism. I would eat like a handful of almonds in between meals. I think I am going to start doing that again!
  • "Where's my sign"? duh! After an entire day of resorting to whining here on the boards, it clicked that I have only been using MFP for 5 weeks. One of those weeks I went way way over on my cals. What is my reported result? FOUR pounds. That is one pound a week. I think I've just been going crazy because of how long I've…
  • Thanks so much for everyone's input. I may have mislead you all saying "1 week". I've been doing MFP for 5 weeks. The 1542 cals was kept all those weeks + or - about 120 except for one of those weeks. ( I said one week because I manually changed the calorie goal 1 week ago). I promise I'm not being impatient too much.…
  • I wonder the same. I see they must have a deleted a pretty cute "holiday" post very recently.
  • It sounds right...If you want to have burned more calories, then get your heart rate up a lot more. Maybe throw in some jogging spurts or just walk as fast as your legs will take you.
  • This.... Even more, show her how you would have liked her to treat you by doing it to her. Support her, encourage her, love on her. It will only bring you two closer.
  • NO! But it woulda been cool haha!
  • LOL! Now THATs an idea! Ha! Do they have sex as an exercise log here?
  • Yay! I don't know you but I'm thrilled for you! You rock! What accomplishments! Can't wait till I can do the same : )...and slowly but surely I'm on my way (and it's fun!)
  • Thanks all for your input. Micheller, thnx for the invite but there is no way I can wait a month, lol. I tend to be more like hazleyes. If one day I see an increase in poundage it only motivates me to be more strict on my eating that day. kbmnurse, I for sure would not be horrified with the scale at a size 8 but that's…
  • I obviously don't know how to read my mfp app because the end bar on weekly ave cal says 1500....anyways....just need more time and days to practice it
  • Wow! Thanks so much you all for your input : ) I ended up going back and writing all my cals down on paper for that 1st week and subtracted the calories I burned, then got the actual average....WAY more cals I was eating than I thought! OOOPS! It's more like, 1900 cals a day, lol! Well, at least I'm learning something and…
