I recently bought a Polar F6. I love it! You can get deals online with free shipping and stuff. Just google it to see what comes up. You definitely need one with a chest strap to get the most accurate reading. Good luck!!

I recently bought the Polar F6 and love it! I agree...you need to have the chest strap to get the most accurate reading. :-)

Yum! Sounds good :-)

I have been doing it for about 2 months. I hadn't been exercising at all before starting it. I love it! It is tough, but you can modify some of the moves even more than what she shows in the dvd. You can drop the weights for some of the strength moves at least in the beginning while you are working on form. I have seen…

YAY!!! GREAT JOB!!!:flowerforyou:

I would log it under circuit training for 28 min,and see what MFP says. I include the warm up and cool down. I just bought a HRM and MFP was pretty close to what my HRM says. I bought one online for under $90 with free shipping. Just a suggestion... :-)

That's fantastic!!! I wish I had the willpower to stay away from the golden arches!! :blushing: I do have to say, I am impressed that you can drive by every day and not pull in!!

I went rollerblading yesterday around my neighborhood twice. I wore my heart rate monitor and only burned about half as many calories as what MFP says I would. Hmmm..... I did burn 55% fat though! Gotta love that!! :-) I definitely say rollerblading is a great cardio workout, but use a HRM to get an accurate calorie…

I am so sorry that you are going through such a tough emotional time!!

I list it as circuit training. I just bought a HRM last week. It has been almost exactly the same as what this site says for calories burned. The HRM is different by 1-3 calories everytime! So, I would trust what the site says as far as that goes. Good luck with it! I am on day 25, level 3 and it kicks my butt!! :-)

Thanks for posting this! I like the show and love Jillian!!! :-)

It will come!! You are doing everything right!! Good job on the half marathon!!! That is an awesome goal!! You have probably shocked your system a little bit which could make you not lose weight? I don't know...I am not a pro on this. Keep up the hard work!! YOU ARE AWESOME!!!:flowerforyou:

I would say try again! You don't have to win the race or have a super fast time. The point is to finish. I am planning on running a couple of 5k races this summer and might even try a 10k. I don't currently run, but I am planning on doing C25K when the weather gets a little warmer here in Michigan. Good…

Today is day 22 for me. I just started level 3.... OUCH!!!! It really works the abs!! I love the workout, they do get easier the more you do it. I also alternate Biggest Loser Bootcamp a couple days a week, so I am not doing Shred every day. Good luck!! Oh.,...I am totally starting to see a 6pack on my tummy! Haven't seen…

Boot camp is a great circuit training workout! I do it one or two days a week with 30 day the other 5. I love it!! I don't feel like it works the abs as much as Jillian does, but there is more cardio and more stretching at the end which I like. Walmart has it for like $7. Give it a try!

 Thanks for all the input everyone!! I am going to try a couple different brands and maybe see if I can find Oikos chocolate flavored. Maybe I will like that better

I hear that kickboxing and cardio are great for burning fat off your belly. I noticed it with my "love handles" first though. I have been doing 30 day shred for about a month. I don't do it every day. I rotate it with Biggest Loser Boot camp. I love it! I am starting to see some 6 pack abs in there and I have had 3 kids!…

I have the BIggest Loser bootcamp. I love it!! It's tough especially when you do workout 1 &2!! I am going to get the BL yoga this week to try. I want some more stretching :-) I also do Jillian's 30 day shred. Love that too!! I have heard that p90X is tough but a great program. I have a couple friends who are doing it…

Way to go!! Glad you are not on meds and that you can turn a negative into a positive reinforcement!!! You will rock in that bikini!!:flowerforyou:

I have 5lbs. weights. If they got to heavy, I alternated arms instead of doing both together. 3lbs. would be good to start with. Good luck!!

:flowerforyou: AWESOME JOB!!!!!

This one only has 2 grams of sugar....it is actually really good for you. I just didn't like the taste
-
This is the one I tried. It had an awful after taste, but wasn't bad while eating it. Thanks for all the other responses!! I will try Kefir cause I have seen it at my local store. I will also try sweetening it next time first before adding the granola. :-)

I am did day 17 shred today. I don't do it every day. I alternate with BL Bootcamp. I do that 2 days a week with shred the other 5 days. I haven't lost weight, but I have noticed my tummy getting some abs again!! YAY!! I am not sure what I will do after the shred. I think I will be doing it indefinitely. I am only on level…

 YUM!!!! That's all I have to say.....

I love when she says this on 30 day Shred!!

Love all the posts!!! This has been a big pet peeve of mine as well!! My 5th grader is learning the differences between there/their/they're, its/it's, etc. Hello!! He is 11 yrs. old!! People need to know this stuff:wink:
-
I have been doing it for 3 weeks interspersing the Biggest Loser bootcamp in between. I am doing level 2 right now adding level 1 to it if I really want to work out hard. It is tough but definitely worth it!! I usually do the BL workout 1-2 times a week and 30 day Shred 5 days. I modify some of the moves even more than…

I just looked at the Polar F6 this weekend. I wasn't sure if it was worth the $110 price tag though! I really want to get one that is going to be accurate and I like that it is pink:blushing: I will have to ask for one for my birthday next month!!

There is circuit training in the exercise log. I do that 6 days a week. I don't have a hrm, so I use the calories MFP tells me I burned.
