After reading the posts on this thread, I have come to understand OLD seems to be a state of mind and perceptions. I feel sorry for those of you that are in your 20's and think you are old, you haven't even lived yet!

Agree with tasharock, some are good, some not so good. Love mine. I have Sciatica which causes numbness running down my right leg and severe low back/hip pain. Could not walk/run without the occassional adjustment. If you are not comfortable with a Chiropractor, try a Osteopath.

You could have been posting pics of me, circa November 2011. Stick with it, those things do start to disappear. I am finally down to the body part that collects the fat first and loses it the last. Kangaroo Pouch is much smaller but it is still with me.

Congrats on the NSV! I started out at a 20/22 and have made it to a 10/12, depending on the brand. never thought I would get this small again and I am still not done. Figure I will be 6/8 by the time I hit goal.

Stand occasionally and do deep knee bends, keep a small hand weight at your desk for arm exercises, stretching and flexing. Stairs in the building? Use your breaks to wlak up and doen the stairs a few flights.

Got down on the floor to play with the grandkids. Couldn't get back up and grandson patted my belly and called me Fat Mimi. Decided I didn't want to be a Fat Mimi who couldn't do things with the grandkids and possibly not be around to see them grow up.

Twice a day for me, I enjoy a 5k run/walk every morning, then just to get rid of the excess physical energy of a day sitting on my butt at work, I will either do a bike ride, walk or do a circuit training routine.

55 and mother of two, never thought to get rid of the mommy pooch. Crunches - both normal and reverse will help firm up the muscles and make it less noticable. The over laying fat in the area is all about the kitchen, calorie deficit!
