Working out will burn calories, save muscle mass and tone you so, you look nice. Don't lose weight and be flabby or soft. Not cute. Invest the time n you'll thank yourself later

Hello, I would like to join. I will do my best to keep up with checking in. What day of the week would you like for us to post our weekly results.
-
I also wear a bodybugg so, I just take what it tells me I burned and log it in under cardio.

OMG, she really made me mad. She knows good and doggone well she is not healthy. I think Dr Oz wanted to slap her back into reality. She's killing herself and apparently she does not care.
-
I am so sorry. LOL, I was half sleep when I read your post and I thought you ask about the bodybugg plan when you really ask about the bodybuilding.com plan.
-
I have a bodybugg since 2008 but, I've never tried the plan.
-
Very good question. Should we be eating our BMR?
-
It's definately HCG.

I am currently doing weight watchers. Im trying it again because I have quit them about 2 times already

Thanks you all for responding. I am going to do it. I pretty much each like it but, I can do way better in that area. Hopefully it will help me lose some of the water retention. I hold on to water alot.

My sista and myself have done the 17 day diet. The results were great. I didn't get a chance to get to faze 2 because my church started a fast so we had to stop. I have not gotten back to it yet but, I think I will. I loved it and it really does work if you do what it says. Good luck and my your journey be graceful and…

I heard that carbs are great before you work out.

You want to make sure you are eating enough to fuel the body. Track everything you put in your mouth and that will be the tell all on whether you are eating over or eating under. Welcome and good luck. We are all here for you, to encourage you and to answer any questions for you. You will have some down day but, get back…

They are well worth the investment. I love it because it takes the guess work out of the equation and MFP is very overestimated on the workout cals burned during and activity.
-
It's really your decision on when you want to weigh in. Some do it once a week and some once a month because the scale does fluctuate due to water retention and also your cycle. I would not suggest weighing everyday because that can become very frustrating and overwhelming. Only record what you get on your set day to weigh…

Oh my, I may have to check out the fruit fast.

Congrats for starting the journey. Your best days are just ahead of you. Don't be discouraged. Start slow and don't rush yourself to do any strenious excercise. I would say maybe start with changing you eating first and then add in some walking. Do a little until you feel you are ready to increase the time and or intensity…

Sometimes I eat them. I always plateau and stay there. Just joined WW again and Im losing again.
-
Yes water retention makes you look and feel big. I retain alot of water so I cut down some on drinking a whole lot of water and I try and watch my salt intake as well.
-
We are in the same boat. I have not been losing but, I think my inches are moving. Take your measurements.
-
Thanks, I will check it out
-
I check my sodium and im never over, not even close. My issues are coming in with the sugar.
-
The benefit for me is, it's design to wear all day and nite, it counts my steps as well. I have never owned a hrm but, I've heard you can't wear them all day. You only wear it when you workout. I personally like knowing how im doing all day with my calorie burn. MFP estimate of cals burned are way to low. It really depends…

2 things with the bodybugg. As I said, I have one and I have the display which you can use as a regular watch as well. If you don't want to invest you can go this route. It's for you so don't let anyone persuade you away from what you need to do for you. We spend money on things we want so why not invest in something that…

I checked out your diary and you should start tracking your carbs so you can have an idea of what needs to go.

Im going to try and eat mines back for the rest of the month. I will limit my burn in exercise because I dont be hungry most of the time.
