well done girl! you are an inspiration!

I have a very small frame and started out at 1200 calories for 2 months and lost 1 lb! So, I upped my calories to 1400-1500 a day and down to 1200 one day a week. It really helped me lose 5 lbs in the next 3 weeks. Also, look at WHAT you are eating. How;s your sugar intake? Whole foods are very important and also are lean…

being able to see that you are going through this is the first step (i think) and I just say one little baby step at a time. I am currently going through something like this and seeing that I am not the only one is really helping me become a little more motivated. Good luck

This kind of thing happens to everyone...I promise. I was a tiny little thing until I got a sit down job and within 3 months I gained 30 pounds! Yup..that happened. Amazingly an office job wears you out in more ways then being a server or something...I think it is b/c of the boredom. Well, anyways, you are here now and you…

This is a very good question. MY brother is an elite runner and he is very thin but I am a decent (i'd like to think) long distance runner with (currently) a middle to high healthy bmi and I run 8min/miles on average for half and full marathons...I really think it all depends on the person and what their body is capable.

great work girl! you look wonderful, I can;t wait to see more updates!

I am 5 feet and currently 120lbs (starting at 125) with 23% body fat and I hope to get down to 100-105 with only 15% body fat. I have a smaller frame so that little amount of weight looks healthy on me, but depending on your frame size more weight looks better. And really, measurements and body fat are the real numbers we…

great work! Amazing

Portland...born and raised!

thank you for this. I have been trying to understand this whole thing. MFP told me i should only eat 1200 calories on non workout days and almost 2000 on workout days..that was too extreme. this is all helping a lot.

Great work. These kinds of things keep me going and stay motivated. Thank you so much for sharing!!

that sounds yummy!
Yep. You seem to be obsessed with cream and sugar, rather than coffee.
Not the creamer and sugar, I just have been taught to drink it with the sugar and creamer...when I go to really nice local roasting companies I barely put anything in it...but that gets spendy!

way to go girl!

That is so amazing! Congrats!!!!! I can't wait to be able to post amazing pictures like yours!

I agree. It is ok if you are not doing it all the time and you have consumed over 1200 (for women) - 1500 (for men) roughly...If you are consuming less than that your body will go into starvation land and that is when it is not okay..When I say consume, I mean after the amount of calories you exercise :-) PS congrats on…

I only have before pictures since I have just started losing weight! But I am 5 feet exactly and hope to have some killer after pictures!!!!

That is a really smart idea..putting the cinnamon IN the filter!

No NSV yet for me as I have only lost a few pounds and really not body change yet! But I am sure this will help me kick that in gear!!! CW 120 GW: 115 4/1 4/8 4/15 4/22 4/30

Chicken! Lots of chicken. It is low calorie and oh so good for you. I am at 1200 calories and give or take it stay there if I am not working out..if I am I eat 1500 calories..but I usually just add more veggies and fruit. MY diary is open as well!

mine is so simple it seems silly.... "Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming..." yes it is from Finding Nimo..but is totally keeps me going when I want to give up!

This has helped a lot, not just the Original Post but everyone who has put their 2 cents in...I am still trying to understand what it all means and this post has cleared up a few things. I am still on the search for true misunderstanding...but I am getting closer.

holy mole!!!

you look amazing! keep up the great work!

Thank you everyone. I think it makes sense to me now...so the Net calories DOES NOT take into account of my BMR....So really I shouldnt look at that too much when figuring out my deficit?
-
This is totally true! It is ok to make "mistakes" but really, food shouldn't be your enemy..so if you have cake be happy you ate something yummy..but move on. Weighing yourself everyday doesn't really reflect your true weight..everyday is different. 1 day I weigh 130 the next I could be 5 pounds less..it really just…

That is what I thought, but getting other people's thoughts is always nice.

5 feet exactly and really want other people who understand what is means to be short in size and fighting with losing weight@
