I am re-starting tomorrow! Let's do this!

Who told you this? A doctor?

Thanks for sharing that link! It was very interesting.

You are amazing!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

I started today!! Sending out friend requests! Or, add me!

Another thought: these are both just motivational tools IMO. You should really get a HRM for when you workout if you're looking for calories burned.

I had the FitBit Force and loved it. Sent it back when they were recalled. Decided to go with the Jawbone Up24 (the one that syncs wirelessly to your phone), and I'm so happy I did. Both have pros and cons, but the Jawbone app is so much better! Syncs with Runkeeper, MFP, Withings,,etc. and all the info in on your…

I would get the Force over the Flex.

Sounds high. Use a HRM and then you'll know your calories burn a little better.
-
I also use my HRM. And, I enter the ingredients separately when I juice.

January 1 = 1 mile. It's a start! :)
-
Good time of year to invest in a HRM with all of the New Year sales!
-
Great goal!

Warm dry-fit base layer, thermals, outer layer, coat, etc. I guess you could wrap a scarf or neck warmer high so you can breathe through it till you warm up if your lungs hurt. Good luck!!

I am not discouraging you, but a good juicer is really expensive. Is it really worth it?

Thanks for sharing!!!

I talked to my trainer about carb cycling and she felt like it was a short-term fix. She suggested exercise and watching my macros. Simple and a plan for life. However, I also am not trying to be discouraging AT ALL. Good luck if you try it!

I rarely drink, and I hate getting up early, but I do kick my cats... and my dogs for that matter. Why am I only interesting when I try and work out? :)

I tried it recently. It is still "free" fruits and veggies, which is ok for most veggies but I still think you should count fruit. The points are calculated based on fat/carbs/fiber/protein, which to me is better than the old calories/fat/fiber because this way a chicken breast and a snickers is not the same number of…

Love it!!!

I'm not sure it's that bad, but your point is hilarious!! =)
-
Such postitive people!! =) I am always open to positive, motivational people!

Pull up Scooby's calculator. Calculate TDEE-20%. Go from there.

If you want detailed info of what you burn daily, go with the BodyMedia. If you just want to be motivated to move more, then choose the FitBit. Remember also, that the BM is warn 24/7 on your upper arm. I got very tired of people asking me what it was during the summer. Winter shouldn't be as big of a problem. Good luck!

Thank you! Thank you! For posting! Gives hope to the rest of us!!

I gave you all of the reasons I love my Force, before I read that you decided on one! Enjoy!!!!

I really, really liked my One, but upgraded to the Force and LOVE IT!!!! Having the info at my fingertips is great, and I set multiple alarms throughout the day to remind myself to move. You can set alarms on the One as well, but since I wore it on my bra it was awkward if it went off during a meeting! Plus, I never forget…

I had the FitBit One and switched to the Force. I love it!!! Here's the thing for me: I do not care if it's 100% accurate, and I don't use it to see how many calories I have burned. I do use it to push myself every day to get in more and more steps. I set alarms on it to remind myself to get my butt up from my desk and…

I downloaded a running app (C210K), laced up the shoes, then started!! It's tough and I am out of shape, but I see improvement each time!! Good luck!!
