  • My husband is 5'11" and 220ish and I am 5' even and for a very long time I weight just 10 pounds less than him. THAT was such a horrible feeling! with him being so much taller than me. I am a little happier now that I have lost about 16 pounds and my figure is starting to reappear. He is always very supportive though.
  • It's all in the willpower, IMO. I have been guilty of eating out lately due to illness and laziness, and not making some of the best choices and recently had my eyes opened by some comments that I had solicited about my food journal. But you know what? I eliminated McDonalds from my diet COMPLETELY about a month ago, and I…
  • ^^ That's mine too! And Snickerdoodle cookies for which I just found a healthier recipe for on skinny taste and I am about to try them!
  • ^^ This had me rolling. Sorry, I have no other valuable input because I believe long distance relationships are haaaaaaaaaaaaard.
  • Un-friending him will fuel the fire and his insecurities. So he's a little gun shy. Either talk to him about his past hurt and come to a compromise like adults or dump him. If it's a relationship you don't value very much then there is no issue, end it. To me, relationships with actual people are so much more important…
  • Hey there, I'm Michelle. 34 year old stay at home mom, wife, caretaker to my mother, and creative media student. I enjoy art, painting, sketching, writing, reading, web design, blogging, and video games. I had my third child in 2011 and my father died the same year and I never lost the baby weight, in fact I packed on a…
  • Jumping on the wagon, could use the challenge! SW: 204 CW: 194 GW:125 Christmas Goal: 174 Maybe Santa will bring me my size 12 jeans for Christmas then?
  • Thanks for the awesome input so far. I'm still very new to this. My water intake is so low lately due to being sick, I know, no excuse, probably need it now more than any other time. Bad me! Started it up again today and I think I did well with it at 10 glasses. 8 is my norm. Water does often leave me with the same water…
  • Pure inspiration to this 5'0" girl. Thank you! For all of us that still have a ways to go, keep at it, we'll get there! I started at 204, gained to 210 before I got a handle on myself, and now sit at 194. Long way to go. I've lost before with kickboxing (not available where I currently live) and felt really good and strong…
  • I suffered this issue with both number one and two babies. People were always giving me food and saying "eat up, it's ok, you're pregnant!" and "you're eating for two!" With baby number three I learned how to politely tell people "No, thank you, Baby has all she needs."
  • I only gained 10 pounds in my last pregnancy. I was overweight to begin with at 181 and my doctor advised me to make smart, healthy choices and drink my water. I cut out coffee laden with creamers & sugar, sodas, and much of my chocolate intake. I was uneasy for most of my pregnancy because with my first two I had gained…
  • Thanks for the tip! I didn't realize this and it has helped me!
  • Not force fed, but it IS difficult to have a steel will when the person you are married to wants to eat McDonalds for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not saying it's the SO's fault, it would be your own fault for just not saying no and going to make yourself something healthy to eat. But do not discount the fact that it does…
  • Ha! Man in uniform! :D Cute face.
  • Ditto. I am proud of my accomplishments but I really don't want them knowing just how far I REALLY have to go.
  • I blame parents for unhealthy over weight kids. Obviously there may be some medical issues, understandable. However, it is still the parents JOB to make the wisest choices for their kids, medical conditions or not. If your child was allergic to peanuts you wouldn't go shoving peanut butter down their throat! Same with…
  • Great work! You look fabulous! Inspirational!
  • You can post your opinion, yes. You are way past posting your opinion, you are tearing down another person. So in your own words... "Get off her *kitten*" She was trying to be funny. You are just being an opinionated jerk at this point.
  • Wow, do you have some personal issue with the OP? Because you sure seem to. Why do you feel the need to totally crucify someone for something they posted, something they said about being a parent? (Which by the way is just something that does happen when you are a parent of toddlers, they would often rather eat off mom and…
