Hm. I haven't considered giving myself a reward! Maybe a nice piece of jewelry or a new handbag? I like the photoshoot idea, too.

Same thing happened to me, and I wanted to quit! But I read on another thread that the weight loss doesn't happen until Level 3, which is exactly when I started to lose weight. I didn't lose too many pounds by the time I finished the program, only about 4, but I definitely lost several inches. My jeans fit a lot better,…

Had to take a week off since I was sick. Still can't do the jumping jacks or butt kicks because my head is too congested and it hurts! I substituted it with air bicycles and punches. Today was Day 5 of Level 1 after the one week break.

Finished Day 3 of Level 1! I feel great!

Just finished Day 2 of Level 1! I haven't taken measurements, but I know I'll see results. Last night, I accidentally grabbed an old pair of jeans off the shelf while getting dressed to go out. I pulled them on and was wondering why they weren't long enough to wear with my boots, and then I realized that they were an old…

Laces is right - don't let it ruin your day! They were obviously very rude and way too possessive over the weights. You have to say something to one of the trainers or the managers next time you go to the gym so that they'll be on the look-out for those four women. Sheesh.

I just finished Day 1! I did 30DS over the summer with great results. Also did her Ripped in 30 with decent results. I was in the middle of 6 Week 6 Pack, but I wasn't crazy about it, probably because there aren't as many posts about it to keep me motivated. I decided to do 30 Day Shred again with 3 pound weights this time…

^^^This. Well said! [/quote] Totally agree, 100%. I wanted to travel, and I found a way to make it work. I applied to various programs when I was 24, and was lucky enough to be accepted to a program to study abroad in Europe for a full year, all expenses paid. I was unemployed for a year after I moved back to the U.S., so…

Six week six pack!

I definitely saw results with her 30 Day Shred! I wasn't too overweight to begin with (need to lose about 5-10 pounds). I started 30DS during my sabbatical, and my coworkers were asking if I had lost weight when I went back to work. Didn't lose any weight, but definitely toned up quite a bit. I didn't see results with…

My boyfriend does her DVDs with me sometimes. He wasn't impressed with the Six Week Six Pack, but he was sweating bullets with the 30 Day Shred. He works out a decent amount - he regularly lifts and goes out for 4 mile runs. Not like boot camp, but he is definitely in good shape. I gave him the 5 pound weights to use for…

I spent a year living in Germany, and couch-surfed in Rome, Naples, and Marrakech. My boyfriend has also hosted some couchsurfers who were visiting from Uruguay and Iceland. Overall, it was a postiive experience. On the plus side, I got to see things that tourists probably wouldnt. On the down side, sleeping arrangements…

I'm an American, and ethnically Chinese, but my first language was Polish. Go figure.

I totally exercise so that I can eat more! Otherwise, I'd go over my calorie limit! I don't like to exercise, but I like to eat!

has anyone been keeping up with the workout?

I just finished the first day for 6 week 6 pack. Definitely feeling it in my abs!

I'm going to start this Saturday, the 24th! Good way to work off all of the Thanksgiving calories! Level 1 is up on YouTube if anyone wants to take a peek. Does anyone know how long we are supposed to do each level?

Oh my god, I am finally done! So happy to be done with RI30. I agree with Wade - I liked 30 Day Shred more. Not quite sure why, maybe because I had more results with it since I went from completely sedentary to working out 20 minutes a day. I lost a couple of pounds with RI30 and about half an inch off my waist. When I…

Congratulations! You look awesome! Shredded, as JM would say!
-
Congratulations, Wade! I'd love to hear about your success! I think tomorrow will be my last day for RI30. I haven't followed it on a daily basis. I am planning to do Jillian's Six Week Six Pack next, if anyone wants to join. I will be starting this Saturday! Will need to work off the Thanksgiving calories!

I have no clue. Have never worked with a personal trainer before, but I assume that person would push you to work harder and longer than you normally would. I just wanted to say good job for keeping up with your zumba and weight lifting!

Happens to me all the time if I go for even one day without walking. It's worse when I start running! It will go away after 2-3 runs (for me, at least).
-
haha! Great game plan to bring your own salad! I am bringing some sides, too - mashed potatoes, mashed butternut squash, and apple pie. That way, I know I'll be able to eat the mashed butternut squash as a healthier alternative to the potatoes! Plus, it'll be easier to resist the potatoes and pie since I have the recipes…

Why don't you go with them, just to take a walk? I pack my lunch everyday, but I'll still accompany my co-workers when they go out to buy their lunches. Then we walk back to the office and eat there. You need to get up and stretch every so often!
-
I'm going to skip mashed potatoes and bread, because those are dishes that I feel aren't really that special. I love them, but they are really easy to make on any other normal day. Same for apple pie - I can make this easily on any other day. But pumpkin pie? Totally going for it!

Mornings. I work a lot of late hours, plus I have to study for my licensing exam after work. The only way that I can be absolutely sure of free time is at 6am!

I"m also 5'6" and 140 pounds! I think that's 63 kg. I'm looking to get down to somewhere between 130 to 135 pounds. Those last five pounds are always so hard to get rid of!
