I've started what I'm calling Low-ish carb. Limiting the refined carbs to 1-2 servings/day. Trying to stay under 90 grams of carbs. Figure the days I exercise I'll throw in an extra serving. Low-ish carb has REALLY helped me in keeping my calories below goal which I have been struggling with. Definitely less hungry too.

Adding an incline should burn more calories than walking flat. Also try walking fast just in intervals. Maybe start just walking fast for 15 seconds then slower for a minute for recovery.

I agree with doing intervals. It makes the time pass much quicker no matter what machine you are on. I also like to go when a couple of TV shows are on that I like so I can switch back and forth. A great music mix helps too when there's no TV.

I don't think they are too light at all. Just use your heavier ones for bigger muscle groups and lighter with smaller muscle groups.

Well, my goal is a little higher than everyone else. I want to get to 165. I'm 170 right now. My first goal was 185 (starting weight of 223), so when I got there I just kept resetting my goal 5 lbs lower. I feel great. I also like the hard rock strength training on Pandora while I'm lifting. When I'm running or doing any cardio I listen to Pit Bull station on Pandora. Cool down I like Jack Johnson on Pandora.

I put the chia sees in my oatmeal and my yogurt. I used to put graham crackers in my yogurt, so now instead of carbs, I get all the good stuff from the seeds and still get some texture added to my yogurt.

40-60 degrees is perfect running weather to me.

I'm also one that HATED running. Couch to 5K totally changed my life, as did MFP. I now love running, it's my favorite cardio. Try it out!

Yes, I plan on Eagle Creek for the most part since I am a little concerned about going on the rivers/creeks by myself.

I HATE the cardio machines at the gym, but I have realized that doing intervals makes the time pass by much faster. Or try adjusting your incline often to mix it up a bit.

The teriyaki chicken on a stick isn't too bad on calories and if they have a mongolian grill where you pick your meat and veggies that's a great option. You can type in chinese buffet on MFP and it comes up with options to chose from. Do some extra exercise too to balance your calories and to feel a little better.
