Often, when this happens, calories are too high. I never give myself back calories from exercise. There is too much room for error and WAY too subjective.

Check out Venus Index weightlifting program for women, there is a website. It has shaped my body better than any other program! I don't have bulky muscles. I use light weights on my lower half and slightly heavier on the upper half.

Recommended BMI range, I'm there at 5'5", but my measurements aren't what I want yet. I try to think of it as the look I want to achieve. I have seen plenty of women at their goal weight without a nice shape. At this point, it's forgetting the scale to some extent and focusing on the shape.

Have you ever looked into Adonis? It's just fr men. I am doing the women's version, Venus Index. I love it and am getting results.
