It is true and real...people who suffer with depression or are stressed and have had sudden (belly fat) weight gain with no real change in diet...it happens fast and is real, been there - this is my second bout of heightened cortisol weight gain...15 lbs. in 3 weeks...it won't come…

Yes, he is correct, he will still lose even though it's crappy food and no nutrition. Where he misses the boat is that he is going to eat WWWAYYYY less food over all per day because of the high cal choices. He will also not lose as much since he is not supporting his body functions and kicking in his metabolism, he's…

Go for good health. You seem to be happy as is...so just healthy it up. Eating right, exercising, make sure your vitals are good: BP, cholesterol and let your body decide where it is healthiest. Your 160 may just be optimal. And maybe hubby has more health concerns for your overweight than appearance. He is attracted to…

Buy nuts, oats, grains, lean meats - fish, skinless/boneless chicken, fresh fruits and veggies (or frozen) yogurt, cottage cheese, eggs. good recipes are all over google, but I usually cook 1 x per week and cut up all my fresh veggies to snack on all day, cut up a fruit salad (canteloupe,…

How do you feel about a burger without the bun???? The bun is the worst part, it's a compromise. Definitely count it in your daily calorie allowance no matter what...lots of water and raw veggies to up the metabolism to burn more fat!!

I'm right there with ya all! As much as the boys think they like these, they are fat cells....with some milk glands...yuk! I find it helpful to get a very supportive bra that will really lift, way up - then I can usually squeeze them into the proper sized dress that fits sthe rest of my shape. OR...get a nylon/blend…

Haha - You don't want to hear my amswer - but I asked a similar Q to my trainer, and the short answer is to measure, measure, measure!! It's a pain, I know. I cook for a family too, but when it's time to eat - pull out the measuring cup and serve yourself up! Today was turkey breast with musrooms (in lemon juice) over…

Yeah - That's discouraging, but you wouldn't know you were 2 lbs up if you didn't weigh each day!! Max 1 x per week - or every other week. My trainer hates the scale, when I do that, I end up eating more because I am so discouraged! My mental SUX...addicted to food!
