Progress from January 2020 to March 2020 18 lbs lost since the beginning of the year

I've been doing IF for the past 3 months and have lost 35lbs. I started out doing 16:8. Then 18:6. Then 20:4. And now I'm at alternate day (36 hours). I do it regularly. I like it because I don't have to put any foods in the "bad" category. It also seems like a program I can maintain for life. My only issue is that…

I do intermittent fasting. I started out just stopping eating at 7pm and skipping breakfast at the end of last year. I moved up to a 16:8. Then I moved up to 18:6, and then 20:4. Now I'm up to alternate day fasting (36 hours every other day). I've lost 20 lbs this year so far and that's with a week vacation thrown in where…

That's awesome! It's definitely doable. The best way to do it though is to stay away from the "junk vegan" food. If you eat clean vegan (limit the processed foods) and exercise the weight should be easy to lose.

I tried and gained back some of my weight. I found for me, I need to hold myself accountable by logging both exercise and food.

Happy.

I've found that while you lose weight with 1200 calories eating at that level is unsustainable. I do better about staying true to my weight loss goals by eating more than that per day. I'm currently trying to lose an additional 10 lbs and I am eating about 1600 calories per day losing about a 1/2 lb per week.

Of course but only if you need assurance that you'll get a high grade on the final. Personally, I find cash works better and that your tipping should be done in private so that the professor can better appreciate your gesture.
-
I tip anywhere from 5 - 15% depending on my grade. I find the best time for the tip is right before the final.

Love, love, LOVE, them!

Your HRM is wrong. They are only good for measuring cardio calorie burns. When it comes to weight lighting they are very inaccurate.

It doesn't bother me if people don't put up profile pics. I understand that some people are uncomfortable with the way they look which is why they are here in the first place. Others are concerned with privacy. To each his own I say.

Jeans that are good for curvy women are Old Navy Sweetheart Jeans and Gap Boot cut.

I'm 5'4 Before 175 lbs After About 140 lbs

I take zumba, but I use the calorie burn from my bodymedia which is always lower than the online calculators. In general I burn about 450 calories per 60 minutes of zumba and that is after being soaked in sweat and going high intensity the entire class.

I like plain greek yogurt with a little fresh vanilla, honey, and kashi go lean.

I do cheat days now that i'm in maintenance phase. It helps me keep on track and not feel like I'm restricting myself too much.

I would definitely recommend getting one. It gives you a much more accurate reading on your calorie burn than other products that I have tried and it helps you have a realistic picture of how many calories you need to meet your fitness goals. I've had mine since August of '12 but I have been using it non-stop ever since…

I started counting calories. Now I pay more attention to macronutrients. I find that if I make sure I get enough protein in my diet I tend to stay in the correct range for calories and I get better results for my fitness goals.

I think the worst weight comment I ever got was several years ago from my aunt who is fanatical about overeaters anonymous. I was in my early twenties and had gained a few extra pounds and she told me she could get me started in OA. Here I was in my young twenties and I wasn't even that heavy...I just picked up a couple of…

I did a Zumba class at 9:30 this morning for an hour and then I worked out with my trainer later on in the afternoon doing burpees and a bunch of clean & squats.

You see this is why I love this place. I love getting sound weight loss advice like this. I'm going out and trying this first thing in the morning. If Dr. Oz's name is on it you know it's got to be good!
-
My advice would be for you to lose the weight and lose the man. You deserve better all around.

Watch some movies then in bed by 11.

Yeah, you've got to get that little boy to lift heavy and to lift often

Hey, the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. I'm glad this parent identified the problem early so that there is a chance this kid could be saved from a life of being a fatty. Looking at the pictures of that poor child, something needs to be done soon or the poor thing will be doomed to a life of…

Cut him back to 300 calories a day and increase his cardio. Also, cut back on the breast milk...that stuff is full of fat!
-
My suggestion would be for you to talk to a health professional about your issue.
-
I saw that article earlier today...I gave it the side eye.

Best advice I was ever given by a nutritionist was if you make sure your meals are high in protein with a good amount of fat and fiber you won't need an appetite suppressant.
