  • Yummy, I mayhave to learn to like almonds.
  • My husband and I had been talk about getting married months before we even got engaged. And a few weeks before he proposed he went home (on vacation) and had told me he was getting his grandmothers ring. He had to ask me my ring size because his grandma was a 9, mines a 5.5 and it's still a little to big (I know tiny…
  • What I find funny is I've heard most of these before and some of them (negative calorie foods, muscle weighs more than fat) in my nutrition classes from professors who have a PhD in nutrition, on the road to get my Bachelors degree. I hate when people recommend diets that aliminate (can't spell today sorry), diets that cut…
  • I take a class that does weights 3 times a week. so I hope that'll help
  • I walk over 4 miles when I walk my dog. So I know I can walk a 5 K. The nearest store for me to get fitted running shoes is 1.5 hours away, so when I'm in that direction I'll have to stop. I just bought new shoes.
  • My husband keeps trying to convince me sex is the best cardio exercise. Do you think he'll be offended if I wear my heart rate monitor and see how many calories I actually burn?
  • I plan on it but the closest specialty store that fits for shoes is almost 1.5 hour away. But my doctors visits and any medication I need is free, so technically not cheaper. But next time I'm out that way I'll have to stop in and get fitted, I don't need anymore problems than I have.
  • I think that is where I fail. I like start out fast and get discouraged because I can't keep that pace for long. I'll have to keep in mind slow and steady wins the race.
  • I do go to a gym but I figured if I wanted to run a 5K it would be better to do it outside. I have a dog that I have to walk everyday anyway so I figured I'd volunteer her to be my running budy. The trail I usually walk at is an actual walking trail in a park so there really isn't any blocks to go by.
  • Ok people keep telling me to get fitted for running shoes. Which if I actually keep up with it I will, I'm not going to buy an expensive pair of shoes and end up quiting. I have a good pair of shoes right now. But what kind of store fits you for running shoes. I live in a very small town, and the towns around me aren't…
  • My gym has posted on their doors "Know that showing up is half the battle." Which I think is true, I'm fine once I get to the gym, it's getting their I have a problem with lol. I'm not sure it's a qoute but I have to tell myself all the time "Hunger and thirst are the same cues"
  • I can't watch Diners, drive ins and Dives because all I want to do when I watch it is eat.
  • I don't constantly snack but at the same time I refuse deny myself anything. So I think that's part of it. I eat eat high protein, high fiber meals to help keep me full. I make sure to eat plenty of veggies and fruit randomly (lots of sugar). But every night I allow myself (if I want it) a sweet or something that is empty…
  • My husband likes red heads or black hair (I'm blonde but frequently dye my hair red, did it even before we met)
  • Remember thirst and hunger are the same cues in your body. If you think your hungry try drinking something if your still hungry eat something small. I use to have a note on my fridge that said you're not hungry your bored, grab some water and go sit down. Try eating foods high in fiber and protein, it takes longer in your…
  • So I apparently don't get how to post pictures. if someone can tell me how I'll fix this.
  • I have some sort of sweet every day either 3 york peppermint patties (the tiny ones it's 150 cal) or the cinnamon candy disk I'll take 3 and thats 70 kcal I still lose at least 2 pounds a week. But I account for it and make sure I eat sensibly throughout the day and exercise.
  • I once weighed myself with my pj's then took my pj's off and weighed myself again and it was 1.5 difference. so I weigh naked. cause 1.5 pound makes a difference lol.
  • Actually it's 500 calories in the 2nd and third trimester. At least thats what my professor (with PhD in nutrition) taught in my nutrition class where we talked about pregnancy, while I was working to get my nutrition degree.
  • Have you tried taking melatonin? It's all natural and is naturally produced in the body. When I can't sleep I take benadryl it helps with my allergies and allows me to knock out.
  • I'm 5'1 and 175 pounds. MFP always seems to cut my calories burned by like 200. I have a polar that has a HRM and it counts my calories burned, generally a 1 hour walk will burn 500 calories, MFP always says around 300
  • Peanut butter, a little brown sugar, and cinnamon and or nutmeg/vanilla
  • I do have an exercise routine. I do weights 3 times a week and when I walk my dog I try to do HIIT. I bought a polar watch with the heart rate monitor to make sure I was geting my heart rate up and keep better track of calories burned. I mainly sake of fruits or veggies every now and then I might have something bad for me…
  • I'm only 5'1, I don't really eat a whole lot of grain or gluten other than the cereal a few times a week. Plus the higher protein diets give me a lot of gastro issues. I've been having a lot of issues with my back and she thinks it maybe arthritis in my back (would be very frustrating since I'm only 24)
  • Where did ya'll get yours and about how much? I really want one.
  • I went grocery shopping and didn't pick up chips or cookies.
  • I love Jillian Michaels but I'm about to start this with a friend who does not like her.
  • Yesterday was tuesday right? I had greek yogurt w/ strawberries and granola for breakfast, lunch I did have meat, so did dinner
  • I made this salad the other day it was delicious. 1 small cucumber 6 roma tomatos (I used 4 but I'm not a big fan of tomatoes) 1/4 cup fresh basil diced 3 green onions (I used 1 whole onion) 2 tablespoons basalmic vinegar 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (I only used 1, or thought it would be too oily) 3 tablespoons of…
