I'm half way through week 4 of ripped in 30. I loved it, weight loss wasn't my goal but I've really improved my strength and endurance!

PS If you do the fast it'll just mean you won't enjoy the wedding as you'll feel weak and probably get too drunk. Ie the fast will just back fire against you.

I'd just flush out any extra water weight by eating very clean (minimal sodium) and drinking lots of water. I find this makes me look less puffy.

I generally don't like taking days off but I rested yesterday due to a sprained ankle. I felt fine to exercise today and felt even more motivated and stronger. I'll definitely rest once a week from now on.

I feel your pain this weekend!! Have a good friend staying the weekend and another good friend's birthday on Saturday! I've hurt my ankle so cardio is difficult at the moment!! 5'3 and very small frame. Happily maintaining at 109.

Now I've reached my goal I let myself cheat, usually on Saturdays. I find any weight gained will disappear in 2 days once I go back to my regular routine. I very rarely cheated when I was losing weight but I didn't have much to lose so it was only three months of being strict!

I started level 1 today and actually didn't find it too bad compared to level 3 of the 30DS. I think my weights weren't heavy enough maybe. I did level 3 of the 30DS almost straight after to get a better strength workout.

Fish is generally lower in calories then red meat. Eat cod, sea bass, monk fish and most white fish to your heart's content! Oily fish such as mackerel and kippers should be eaten with more moderation as they are higher in calories and fat.

I do it too if I want to burn the extra cals without going to the gym.
