Love Oatmeal (porridge in the UK) I eat it with just milk and water! I mix with Soya milk for a bit of a change sometimes

I'm 5ft 3. My goal was 108 but I can't seem to get below 109 - I know 1 pound doesn't make a difference but I was determined to reach the goal - anyways I guess 109 is my 'set point' and now I'm happy here. Just interested how did others lose their final pounds?

If you've only just upped your calories it may be an idea to give 1500 a chance for at least two weeks and then experiment after that. :smile:

The weight watchers meal could be full of sodium, best to avoid this in the week before the holiday. Could you take a salad to work with you? I've been losing weight for holiday too, I leave on Sunday, can't wait!!!

I can't do the rock stars. I do butt kicks instead, but these may also not work for your knee.

Does anyone else find they have a lower calorie burn (hrm reading) on level 3? I could go up to 230 on level 2 but on level 3 it's more like 170. Maybe it's that the cardio isn't a fast or maybe it's just that I can't do Natalie style for the whole time? What has everyone else found?

PS Totally agree with the mini goals idea. My goal this month was complete the 30 day shred in 30 days consecutively. I'm on day 22 today!!

5'3 and maintaining!! Still eating mostly at a deficit (but with lots of exercise calories) during the week and saving extras for the weekend!! Big holiday is two weeks time so be very good before then and might relax it up after.

I always found it hard when I had a meal to go to in the evening when I was on a deficit as I prefer to eat throughout the day and have a light dinner. Saving most of my cals for the evening left me hungry all day and made the meal feel like less of a treat! I feel your pain but I agree with the above poster if you haven't…

Too many simple carbs. Try replacing them with complex carbs like brown rice and sweet potatoes.

I'm in the same position. I think I'm going to up calories slowly, like by 50 this weak. I'd also cut almost all wheat and I'm wondering about gently reintroducing it. I'd love to hear more opinions on this.

I feel the same! At first I thought it was cos I drank so water while working out but then I read muscles retain water for repair after exercise.

When I've tried to give alcohol for a month I end up getting really bored and then partying hard after two weeks! This time I'm only having a couple of glasses of wine on a Saturday night within my calories and it hasn't effected my weightloss whereas I think the deprivation did.

Humous isn't bad for you though its just high in calories and fat but healthy calories and fat!!! Enjoy in moderation.
