I have calculated my TDEE and BMR and I had been eating at my BMR until about a week ago when I realized I wasnt eating back my exercise calories and was actually eating waaaaay under BMR. Im trying to work on that but sometimes I feel like Im just eating so much. I guess im still in the mindset of the less I eat the more…

I havent been taking measurement but I think thats definitely something Ill have to start. I did notice that my pants are getting looser around my thighs and slightly around my waist.

6in oven roasted chicken on honey oat bread with cucumbers and lettuce! So good and only 360 calories!

Thanks! I hope thats what is happening, Im starting to get discouraged but really want to stick with it!

Is that a net of 1800 calories a day? Im still trying to figure out what a good calorie intake would be for myself.

After reading this thread the main idea I got out of it was that healthy eating is somewhere between your BMR and TDDE. BUT is this your net caloric intake or is this your total intake regardless of how much you exercised that day? I generally lose 350-650 calories doing cardio six days a week and I also do strength…

1. Change up your cardio routine, by doing different exercises your body is working different muscles and helps preven a plateau! 2. Dont always rely on how much you weigh, measure your waist, it is so rewarding to actually see a difference in cm/inch. Sometimes its hard to see a change in your body and its nice to have…

I have a "cheat day" once a week, on Fridays. It doesnt mean that I will stop logging my calories, I eat healthy as I normally would but I also allow myself a dessert or snack I wouldnt normally eat. These are also the days I don't have time to go to the gym, so I make sure that I am still within my calorie goal but its…

Thanks, thats what I was wondering. I usually dont have a lot of time in the morning so I was looking for something quick to pack for lunch. But making my own bags the night before seems like a better idea. =D

They are commercially made, Im referring to something like Nabisco snack packs. One of them is chips ahoy crackers, 100 cals, 2g of fat

I dont have an eating disorder but for the last two years I have been eating very unhealthy foods and have not really exercised. I am trying very hard to change that but I think I am going about it the wrong way. I have been eating fruits and veggies, about one serving every two hours but then I am always hungry and not…

Well there is a difference between something being overrated and not working at all. I think its a good place to start if you haven't used weights at all. I know I certainly felt it after using this machine but that's my personal opinion, everyone is different.

It really great that you do a lot of cardio but using the weight machines at the gym actually helps you burn more fat. Even if its just a couple of days a week it will change up your routine and your muscles will be working in different ways. I good way to start is low weight/high reps where your last couple of reps should…

There is a machine at my gym (planet fitness) that is called the Hip abduction that it supposed to work out that areas. But it is good to pair this with lunges and squats as well.
