Yesterday not so good but not terrible for vacation. My mom loves sweets and we are in tight quarters at the beach house. Had a great morning walk from the store with morning newspaper and 2 gallon water jugs to balance it out and get an arm workout on the way back! 8 lbs per gallon!!! So arm workout complete. A passerby…

Still planning to stay healthy with activities on the beach and pool and evening yoga to help digest all of the vacation food. 1st weigh in is tomorrow. I will miss that 1st weigh in and update my weight when I get back on Saturday. I hope to…

202pinktogo. I love athleta winter weight but it depends on how hot you get. I am a warm weather runner. Also tj max had a lot of winter gear on sale to save money. And I wear ski socks to keep my feet toasty or marshalls too!

I met most of my goals. The 1 gallon of water is really hard. That's 16 8 Oz glasses. I did hit 12. Today. Beach volleyball. Short sprint and stretch. Deficit this girl is on fire!!!!

Thanks for the info. I found Dr. Tom O'Bryan to be very informative. I enjoyed learning about connections of thyroid to other autoimmune diseases. I don't know that it will change what I am doing. More or less reaffirms what I am doing. Not sure I am in agreement with all the speakers. How about the one that talks about…

I do 40C/28F/32P ...and I track fiber 30g daily and water 11 per day. Usually carbs are under 150 per day. Yeah nutritionist said go lower on carbs and higher on fats..but I do need to live with the diet also. Any lower on the carbs and I just don't have the energy for the running workouts. I may have 1 or 2 days slightly…

Raising my BMR is my new focus and thanks for all of the information. It does appear to be in it's infancy in understanding and definitely needs more long term studies. All I really know is that mine appears to be damaged and yet I have all of the "recommended" blood levels and feel energetic. I get adequate rest, adequate…

It is a known medical fact that people with hypothyroidism and treated effectively ( i.e. all levels correct, T3, T4, TSH AND THEY ACTUALLY FEED GOOD AND HAVE ENERGY). This can be upwards of 300 calories below a person without hypothyroidism for the same height, weight, age activity level. The medication does not put the…

I am switching up to exercising in the morning per my nutritionist suggestions. My RMR was 1350 which is 200 below normal for my height and weight. It's not like I didn't know it already. After reading Mary Shamon's book on thyroid diet I calculated it from there and was similar to scooby doo calculator except she did…

Ugh. Kidney Stones. I had a small one and the asparagus-diet coke trick worked for me. But my cousin had to be hospitalized. Hope you get to the bottom of it all! Thanks for everything you do!!!! Congrats on the new upcoming arrival.

Thanks for tracking all of this. It does help having check points and goals. Please add me to summer list. Goal is to loose 10 pounds. Same goal but different start weight. I'm a sucker for a challenge!
-
Well I gained 5 but lost 10. So I hit my goal of loose 10. I just didn't expect my body to be so uncooperative in the beginning. Onto summer!

I have an open diary and log everything..feel free to add me.(oh today not a great day...but it's logged and within calories..Gonna make up for lack of protein this week)
-
Process is what I focus on too. This is year 4 for me in MFP so I did a total reset on weight lost. The 60 I lost before just doesn't count anymore. It's that last 30 that is giving me the most trouble. This challenge started me but my process almost derailed me. I started at 1450 calories..exercise 4-5 times per week and…

I tried taking it at night so I wouldn't forget but found it dried me out completely even with water. So now I take it mid morning and try to avoid calcium rich foods 2 hours before and 2 hours after..but usually that window shrinks to 1 hour cause I eat lots of smaller meals. levoxyl for 10 years plus
-
Oh and one protein..watch the soy...women do not do well with soy and products tend to pump up the protein with soy
-
On the weightlifting...since you are at home...use an AP to count them for you. I use Daily Ab workout or Workout Trainer. There must be more..but they basically are the coach telling you what to do..eventually when you are an empty nester you can get to a gym with a buddy which makes time fly

Stayed within calories if I subtract out exercise yesterday...I'm taking it as a success. Got out for a walk at lunch Boiling some hard boiled eggs to satisfy that gnawing feeling. Keep it up everyone! Love the format of this challenge. It truly supports what we already know...it is within oneself....just gotta keep it in…

Yes Yes Yes for today. Will go at it tomorrow too!

I love this post. Very cute. I had a small container of fruit for snack yesterday and it was so satisfying to eat the whole container. It definitely cut down on cravings for more. I think I will try to incorporate more small containers in my menu planning.
