I remember years ago I was trying to lose weight so I started working out a lot. I didn't, however, change my diet so I remained at the same weight. Therefore, in my experience, diet has been more important than exercise. But I also think that exercise is very important.

Just go to where it says "weigh in" or "check in" on the home page and enter your new weight. It should change on your ticker after that.
-
Try logging it under circuit training.
-
Since you workout so much it is possible that you are over training, especially if you're doing weights. Your muscles need time to recover, about 48 hours.. If you're that exhausted maybe you should take some time off to let your body recover.
-
Try getting a kitchen scale, then you'll never wonder again.
-
Eat a healthy breakfast before you workout so that you have the energy to do your workout.
-
Either run outside, run in place inside, get a new one, or join a gym. All depends on your budget I guess.

I think the absolute best thing to do, and I think many people will back me up on this, is to ask your doctor.
-
Be careful that you don't work out too much. You could overtrain and hit a plateau very quickly.

No.

Just go to the exercise database and find circuit training and put in how many minutes you did of P90X.

It happens to everyone. When it happens to me I find that making some adjustments to my workout or diet can have an effect on continued weight loss.

I'd say that sounds about right. That's a little over 16 calories per minute.

Here's how I see it: When you're hungry, eat and when you're not, don't.

Many people start off doing this as a new years resolution and then give up after a couple of months or so. Don't do that! Stick with it and if you need support there are plenty of great people who use this site that can motivate you, help you and give you some good advice. Best of luck to you on this endeavor!

Well said!

Who cares what the scale says! What matters is how you feel. Do you feel healthy? Just keep doing what you're doing, maybe make some adjustments along the way (i.e. tweek your diet and/or workout) and don't get down on yourself. Let's go!!!

Depends on the positions you use! Just kidding, I don't know....

A long time ago, before joining MFP, I weighed 280 lbs. Now I weigh 210 lbs. and I did it all with knowledge, proper diet and exercise. I think that personal trainers have there place for people who feel that they need to use them, but if you can do it on your own, then do it. That sucks that they're hassling you at your…

Try to get him to go to the doctor for a physical. If the doctor tells him his health is failing and he needs to lose weight and quit smoking, maybe that will give him some motivation. That's what happened to me! Good luck.

Concentrate on using your abs to pull you up and don't pull on your neck with your hands. Exhale when you're doing the crunch and inhale on the way back down.

Don't forget that it's not just how you look or how much weight you're losing, but how you feel. If you're eating right and exercising, you ought to feel great! Just knowing that you're living a better life should make you feel better already. Don't worry about the scale, it can't tell you how you feel, only you can.

How about you compromise, spread it out and only eat half of your exercise calories for the next two workouts. That way you won't be starving.
-
Try interval training, ya know walk for a minute or a minute and a half, and then sprint for a minute. Keep doing that for 20 minutes to a half an hour. That way your workout won't be so boring and you can actually concentrate on the workout more. Also, you will burn lots of calories.

A long time ago, before I joined this site, i weighed over 280 lbs. When I first started exercising and eating right, the first 10 or 15 lbs. or so came off pretty quickly. I think that it's pretty normal at first, then you will just start to lose 1, 2, or 3 lbs. per week, which is the healthy way to do it. Just stick with…

Best of luck to you!

I don't think it's bad at all.
