Kalamazoo here...Yeah it's cold. I workout indoors this time of year. Cold air tends to bother my asthma, so DVDs and Zumba classes keep me active. Once it gets above 50 degrees I want to start C25K. Hate running on the treadmill. [/quote] Me Toooooo! Yes Kalamazoo is lovely...were sooo blessed to have Lake effect snow! :(

Then ask yourself how long it took to put on the weight....I understand your feeling of wanting more out of your hard work....but you want to do it the right way as which you are....make it a lifestyle...then when you do finally reach your goals you won't just put it all back on...Also...try taking weekly pictures of…

Think about this...you cannot plant a flower garden and expect the next day to have beautiful flowers..it takes work to prepare the ground (your mind); water it daily (your body); give it fertalizer (nutritious food)' and of course weeding (exerisie). Sprinkle it was some time and wala...YOu will turn into a beautiful…

Hi...The DASH diet is built on a ratio of serving sizes of all your healthy stuff...it does really well with controlling your blood sugar level so you will burn more fat and calories easier...There is a fourteen day initiating period which is tough..(im on day 6) but the after that the diet is very doable...and you can…

i would ask youself if you could live on this diet for one year. When choosing a diet you want one that you can make into a lifestyle change. Im currently doing the DASH diet and doing very well with it....

You go Girl! Great Job......

Try changing your diet...I think just because your staying within your calorie goal always isn't very good...I think it does matter what your diet looks like to be the most effective. I challenge you to eat really well this week....no or little sugar, no starchy foods (rice, noodles, bread ect) and watch out...you will be…

Only if you can see doing this for long term...I would suggest the DASH DIET...MUCH EASIER TO MAINTAIN A LIFESTYLE WITH.
-
Your friend is very right! Yea...even though they're lower in calorie they are a starch food...your body turns this into pure sugar! It actually would be more benificial for you to eat a piece of whole grain bread with PB!

That's AWESOME! :)

Have you went shopping for some new more fitting clothes yet...maybe your clothes are too lose and not showing what you have acomplished...Plus main thing is...how do you feel..do you feel better...that's what counts the most....

I heard good things from other people. I just started on the DASH diet...similier...but really helps regulate your blood sugar levels so you can control those cravings when it comes.
-
I'm just trying to encourage....This happens a lot....people drop a huge amount of weight the first week then don't get the same results the next...and may even gain a few...then totally drop the whole diet plan thing...This was not said to be mean! :)
-
Be cautious..that is probably mostly water weight. Don't get discouraged when next week you see some of it come back...esp if you are exercising!
-

Don't be discouraged when you start exercising and you start gaining...your muscles with start holding the water and may even look like you gained weight even though your eating healthy....best thing to do is keep what your doing up and lose the scale...weigh yourself once a month....you'll see the results with your…

Your a true example what it means to rely on God's strength and not your own! So happy for you...keep on keeping on! :)

this is so true...i so want to weigh myself everyday because i want to see the results...but then today the scale said i had gained 3 pounds....not sure how that happend...I've been discourage all day...i know it's just probably water retention. So...i told myself im done with the scale...it will derail you and leave you…
