  • I only record the actual exercises I do. If I do heavy housework, I'll add that in, but normal everyday activity I don't.
  • Shrimp and pasta with a basil pesto sauce and some fresh broccoli. Tomato & mozzarella salad
  • I find that working out in the morning is best for me. That way, I feel motivated and good that I'm done for the day and not fearing for the "do I have time" later in the day when all else just seems to happen. I work out while everyone is still in bed and I have my "alone" time.
  • Slice the chicken into narrow slices and stir fry with lots and lots of veggies. (broccoli, celery, carrots, snap peas, bean sprouts) add a seasoning mix (asian food aisle). You'll get the protein and lots of veggies and serve over brown rice. I'm addicted to it!

  • I did the same thing however, I gained almost all that I'd lost (18 lbs). I'm back on track now and have lost 9 pounds in the past 3 1/2 weeks. I'm not going to do that again.   • Has anyone been successful on Nutrisystem? I've been on it 1 week (with weekends off) and noticed there is quite a bit of sodium. My husband was told to get off it by his cardiologist due to the high sodium content. I guess it is useful for the first month anyway to learn proper portion sizes. Any comments? :flowerforyou:
  • I make my own green iced tea (decaf) with 2 tea bags to 1 gallon of water and add 1 crystal light lemonade to this gallon. You'll have this to drink for a few days. Green tea is really good for you and by using only 1 crystal light packet not too sweet.
  • 100 calorie snacks works for me. Fill up on Fiber One bars (loads of fiber and not too much for calories) maweaver2 what kind of dog is that? He/She looks very similar to our Mutt!!

  • Congratulations! I was away 3 of the last 3 weeks. It is difficult to maintain eating healthy when you have to eat out, but making some of the right choices helped me to maintain while away.
