The guy who came in....laid down on the lat pull down machine bench....hooked his feet over the top of the pull down bar and proceeded to give his glutes a good workout

Pretty much anything I want as long as it fits in

4 days left on this round of Insanity. You'll be amazed at the difference by the end. Just don't ever expect the workouts to get easier  I use a heart rate monitor for mine and I created new exercises for each workout. I think most people put them in as Circuit Training otherwise :D

This can be lethal. Look up Heat Exhaustion

If you get a negative number then you've not done the calculation correctly. It's probably where there are 2 '-' signs. This always gets people :flowerforyou: I would suggest copying the formula into Excel and using it there Calories=((0.6309*Avg Heart Rate)--(0.09036*Weight)+(0.2017*Age)--55.0969)*60/4.184

Sodium = Water weight Sore Muscles = Water weight Illness = Water weight Drinks lots of water and it will go in a few days
-
Don't think so. Just your average heart rate during the swim

In the last week of Insanity here. Amazing results. Amazing difference between when I started and now. Stick with it. You'll be a different person when you're done  p.s. If you think the fit test was bad....just wait until tomorrow

One option is to go back and do it over again. Use heavier weights though :glasses:

The actual swimsense worked fine. Was absolutely brilliant. Then I went to upload the workout into MFP and it adds it in as Swimming, treading water, moderate effort. Not the end of the world. it gets the time and calorie burn spot on...it's just kind of lame that it just tells the world that I've been treading water…

#1 - Any weight gain on the scale is going to be water retention from the abuse you're subjecting your muscles to. #2 - Don't skip the rest days. They're probably more important than any other part of the workout apart from the stretching #3 - How can you tell you're gaining specifically in the back, belly and sides??…

6'5'' 210lb. My diary is open for anyone to view, but you're probably better off looking at the first 6 months of last year. At that point I wasn't working out so much and weighed around what your hubby does, Nowadays I work out a lot and there are a lot of supplements in my diary
-
That's just under a pound a week. Nothing wrong with that

Insanity

bump
Hardly. With this particular guy today, I think it was more about him than me. Infact, I think he only swims for one reason - to watch the women - it is actually kind of creepy.
There's other reasons for swimming? :noway:
-
'm glad it's not just me :blushing:
-
Q - Why are you not losing weight? A - You're not recording calories consumed correctly You're not recording exercise calories burned correctly Looking at your diary, you haven't recorded anything. Problem solved :flowerforyou:

I swim about 3km per day, 5 days a week. It takes me an hour to swim the 3k. I just enter it as 'Swimming, Leisurely, General' to be on the safe side. Seems to be working for me that way
-
Yup. Mum was calling me bloated. Love her, but come on!!! Luckily for a man I think it's a bit different. I just told her to shut up
-
My exercise and food diary are open to view, but to answer your questions; 6 days a week 211lb Yes Swimming (1 hour) 5 days a week, Weights (1 hour) 3 days a week, Running & Cycling (1 hour) twice a week and my Insanity workout (40 - 60 mins) 6 days a week.
-
That's one hell of an announcement lol.
-
With the exercise added in, I need to be eating 3000-3500 calories per day. Pretty much anything goes to be honest. Diary is open if you want a peek :flowerforyou:
-
6'5'' lol....or did you only want girls? :blushing:
-
No, because MFP has already built a deficit in. Getting to zero remaining will always leave you 500 calories short of maintenance for the day
-

Sitting on the pan afterwards is a memory I will treasure for a long time lol Seriously though, this is what the Pain relief gel and tiger balm are for :drinker:
-
Go lift some weights. You can do other stuff in addition to Insanity
-
Adjust your goal to 8lb in 2 months
-
It's a beast of a workout program  Last day of Recovery week for me tomorrow then a glorious rest day before the dreaded month 2 start. Buy some strong pain relief gel and some tiger balm. If you're at all worried about your knees then buy some elasticated supports. A HRM is a good idea too. Drink lots of water.…
