OK, just got my Swimsense and tried it out for the first time today. It synced with MFP and eveything seems to be working OK. My question is this. Does it have to enter the exercise automatically as Swimming, treading water, moderate effort? Can I change it somehow?

Moderate or Vigourous?
25m pool. 100 lengths Freestyle - 60 mins. What do you reckon? Not fast enough to count as vigorous? I've been counting it as Leisurely because we all know MFP is way over the top, but I was just curious what people think.

Muscle gain on maintenance?
I understand that you can't gain muscle mass while on a calorie deficit unless you're obese. Now that I'm no longer obese, all I'm doing is preventing muscle loss as much as possible until I reach my goal weight. Coconut Oil
My wife just asked me what I thought about cooking with coconut oil instead of the usual olive/sunflower etc. She's heard somewhere that it's supposed to be a healthier option. I've got no idea tbh. Anyone else heard anything about this or has any information?

I went out and bought a new set of bathroom scales. The old one was getting a bit erratic and the new one comes with Body Fat / Water / Muscle %. They also give me my BMI/BMR values as well.
