+1 Salt makes it more apparent, sure there are quick temporary fixes but it all comes down to diet alone.

I would get it checked out. But then again I have zero say in this since in HS when everyone had to wear heart rate monitors on hill workouts I was the only one who couldn't surpass 190 when everyone was in the low 200s for the highest. What can I say? We're all wired different.

Nope, you should check out this guys blog, he's pretty awesome. http://www.fatguyorangebike.com

GPS watch it good. I highly recommend Soleus, it's inexpensive, fashionable, and highly accurate. Plus you don't have to carry around a bulky phone or wear an incredibly bulked out watch. Also don't go out too fast. Practice on keeping the upper body relaxed.

If you're thinking about just eating fruits (fruitarian style) you HAVE to eat a lot of veggies, especially greens. There are a lot of people who live like this.

Just cut out processed food and eat more natural food that grows out of the ground. The high protein thing is a total myth. It's going to get converted into glucose anyways. But if you are that worried about protein, all your veggies have a surprisingly high amount of protein in them.

There's a lot of misconception with what sugar really is. Sugar by itself is bad because we need other components to properly metabolize it a.k.a. Fiber.

I don't understand IF. Just eat when you are hungry and eat healthy foods. To me it just sounds like a starvation diet with two giant binge meals or something shoved into the day.
-
I follow it and there are several people on here that do also.

Doctors are not nutritionists. Go find someone who specializes in nutrition and have them work with your needs.

High carb, low fat, "low protein", high raw, mostly fruit. Took the plunge after researching on how to recover from it. Found a vegan youtube video, took the plunge, never looked back, I had IBS to the point where I started sh*tting blood.

All fruits. All veggies ;)

Frozen bananas. It has the same consistency as ice cream. Bananas are also obviously cheap. You can also add vanilla extract to make it taste vanilla (trust me you probably wont notice the banana). I like putting some cocoa in it and then throwing mints in it.

The slower the weight loss the easier it is to maintain the end result. Dont jump the gun and cut too many calories. If anything just evaluate your current diet and just make small changes (like instead of that candy bar eat fruit, instead of soda drink tea or water). Calorie counting can lead to obsessive behaviors later…

Armbands and fanny packs and shoving things in your sports bra. Also if you can get a cheap biking shirt they have back pockets that you can put stuff in. Then again I just run with a key, my roadID band, and pepper spray. Personally cell phones are pretty useless for running. Just buy a watch and then put it into mapmyrun…

I was a vegetarian for 11 years. Went back to eating meat for a year and came down with intestinal issues (IBS, ****ting blood, severe constipation for days and random diarrhea), extreme facial breakouts, hair falling out, weight gain, sleeping over 12 hours a day. Rediscovered veganism through YouTube (during the days my…

Depends on your lifestyle and what works for you. I eat 1000 calories for breakfast. And I'll eat ~500 calories somewhere in there. And then another ~500-1000 for dinner. So technically I follow similar principles on a typical work day because my job is all over the place and it's hard to work when I just want to relax…

Kale, I don't understand why it tastes like bitter crap.

I'm vegan and resort to fruit a lot. Usually blended ripe bananas (easiest to digest for me when on the go). But you can do rice, pasta, potatoes. Throw those onto a salad. Rice and mangos. Pasta with homemade spaghetti sauce (tomatoes, advocation, pepper, celery). You make a bunch of seitan from scratch (it takes at the…

Eat whole foods. Change your diet slowly. More fruit and veg. More food made from scratch. Less condiments, less sodium fake food. You could probably eat the same amount of calories, change what you are eating and lose weight. After it stalls then you can play with cutting 200 cals or something.

All vegan endurance junkie :P

I'm a vegan and I mostly eat fruit. I just shove more food in my mouth....not kidding.

5'3 and in the ballpark of 120-130...honestly no idea because my weight fluctuates 15 pounds. I run 40-60 min each time and cycle anywhere from 13 to 50 miles each time (50 milers are not often....if anything I'll stop at 30 and that's probably one a week at max). I workout 6 days a week max. I eat 2000-2500+ depending on…

I personally think its bullsh!t. I would call it "more metabolically efficient" because you are burning less calories doing the same activities. It's like a car that runs 40miles/gallon and one that runs 26 miles/gallon. The 40 mile/gallon is going to be more efficient at going the same distance using less gas/calories…

Vegetarian/vegan doesn't always mean healthier. Reasons you may gain weight: - too much processed food. (Frozen TV dinners and refined pasta for example) - Still eating junk food. - too much fat Reasons you have lost weight: - Less sodium - overall eating less calories due to less calorie dense food - eating more…

Eat. Whole. Food. I eat at least twice the potassium recommendation. Your body will get rid of extra through urine and feces. If you're taking supplements...well...good luck with that.

Literally.com It has all their older workouts with zuzka. Don't get me wrong Lisa-Marie is a great motivator, but some of her workouts I'm like.....why?

Eat carbs already, we're not carnivores. I eat over 500g of carbs. I'm not fat either, I used to eat under 200g every day because of how the diet industry wraps our heads in silly fad diets. I also eat mostly fruit and veg, they won't kill you. It won't "turn into fat" because the carbs/sugar is natural and the body knows…

I'm vegan and you don't need that much protein. Look up bite sized vegan. She's tiny, she can sport a 6 pack and her latest video shows that she consumes 48 g of protein. There's loads of vegans who are like that and don't "get enough" by whatever current trend is going on.

Sounds like it. When I went high raw and went cold turkey on dairy and meat I developed a rash right on my butt.....yea try coping with that while at work. It went away eventually. I can't recall what I changed diet wise though...
