  • ..Oh dear, me and my hairy feet have given this thread the kiss of death havent we? :indifferent:
  • I have hobbit feet :-) Not particularly large, but hairy as hell! I had a swedish massage earlier this year, the only thing i could think all the way through was 'thank god I shaved my feet beforehand' lol- I figured of all the body issues i could have been worrying about, hairy feet is not that bad :-)
  • I have a habit of skipping breakfast but find when i do it has no effect on my energy levels at all, if i have breakfast however, even if it is protein, like scrambled egg or something, am starving again by 10am and start to munch anything in sight. I think it wakes up my cravings more than anything else.
  • no recipes to add, just wanted to say i love your pic :-) looks just like my kitten!
  • Ouch! I wouldnt know about childbirth (or spawning as i like to call it) but that sounds pretty painfull!
  • 5ft9- goal currently at 168, 5lb off at the mo, started at 220. once i hit 168 i am going to up my calories to what maintenance would be for somone of 150lb and see what else comes off :-) That way I get practice at maintenance! I have a large frame- 6.5inch wrist and broad shoulders (dammit!)- that said, i also used to…

  • *bumping to try and catch ya a few responses* I have fairly succesfully swapped the urge to eat with the urge to either sleep or go on a run when stressed- but thinking back, i was never really a big stress eater anyway, boredom is my enemy!
  • im 5ft 9 gone from 210 to 176. I have quite broad shoulders so am aiming to stop at 168 lest i look a bit odd :-) Once at my goal weight im going to aim to stay the same weight but continue to reduce body fat (i want to see my abs- just once in my life- even if its just for a week or so :-) )
  • Si Beg Si Mohr- the fairport convention version. blue guitar played whilst we signed the register Had a mix cd for background music during the meal- it had a whole bunch of folk music on it :-)

  • Im in a costal uk town, famous for its salt and a battle between viking raiders and Brithnoth's anglo saxon militia... The vikings won.
  • I concour, we have 2 rescue cats, Drew, who is a black moggy and is very quirky, he gives affection like this 'purrpurrpurrdribblelicknibble-hmm, this hand doesnt taste to bad-nibblenibblebite' He is scared of anyone other than me and my husband and likes to sleep between us on the bed, or on my feet. and Daisy, who is a…
  • 'You're a big strong girl' code for 'omg, what a heffa!' usually from one of my older clients. I have had one or two say 'its nice to see someone who enjoys their food' Old people are quite good at compli-insults and i have seen a few posts on MFP bemoaning an insulting comment from grandma etc. Having said that most…
  • Thankyous! I definatly feel like a runner now!
  • Yesterday I had a mid morning coffee- large costa americano, no milk, precicely when my chocolate and stuff cravings start (this happens for about a week every month). It worked! :-) In fact, i ended up having lunch at 2pm, usually i am gagging for lunch by 12- so i definatly think the coffee filled helped me feel full!…
  • E Nomine- Das Bose in fact, E Nomine, Lemon Jelly and Go! team all mixed up in a weird sinister/peppy/psychadelic mix :-) Like HIIT for your ears!
  • UK- love it :-) We have the best weather!
  • I dont have a problem at all (she says, sitting at her desk with chocolate :-( ) Its not that I eat too much, its that I eat the wrong stuff, and all idea of excercise goes out of the window. I like the coffee idea, I will be buying myself some coffee later today- might even give me enough pep to get out and run this…
  • 1460, upped from 1270 yesterday because I realised i was going for a run etc just to create a big enough deficit to be able to eat a filling meal :-( I wont be eating back my excercise calories now on my higher calorie goal, i want to excercise because i want to, rather than because i want some mayo on my lunchtime salad…
  • Older :-( im 26, i get taken for mid 30's quite a lot, I like to think its my mature demeanour rather than looks based lol My husband is 27, he always gets mistaken for mid 30s as well- possibly because he has a fulll beard :-)
  • "interesting times" by terry pratchett, for like the 3rd time :-)
  • Tabletop games, LARP, leatherwork and making stuff, occasionally i can be found in front of the TV watching an old sci fi series :-)
  • I ate much bread at the weekend (tiger bread, omnomnom). My bowels and my scales regret it today :-(
  • *bows* Glad to have helped :-)
  • It may have no nutritional value, but it is good :-) I do include it in my calorie count, but I wont stress if i go over my allowance because I have had a second pint of cider. I am figuring this is a lifestyle change, can i live without drink? yes. Do i want to live without drink? Hell no. Conclusion? Drink when i fancy a…
  • I would be interested to hear the responses to this, I started running with my husband last year and we got up to being able to run for 15mins non-stop (which doesnt sound much but i found 30secs difficult when we started). He has stopped running as his physical job means he is pretty much knackered when he gets home…
  • Breakfast 7:00 Snack- usually an apple or carrot or something like that 10:30 Lunch 12:30 Snack about 4:30 Dinner is anytime between 7pm and midnight depending on how carried away i get doing something else. Dinner also usually accounts for at least half of my daily calories :-)
