  • Not really weight loss related but... I had my hair cut shorter last week after deciding I had lost a fair bit of weight and should probably tame the tangled mass on head. One of my clients (i work with old people) them: 'oh your haircut takes 10 years off you!!!' Me: 'thanks :-) ' them: 'you look about 35 now' Me 'thanks…

  • Nah, in the rain, mud, painted green and being walloped with foam weapons are where its at! Chizelhurst caves.. hmm, that would be labyrinthe im guessing- good, but expensive :-) There are great larps all over the country :-)
  • Really?! No other Larping nerds around today? Is that too far over the nerd line? I have been to Mutant Chronicles and Fallout Larps if that makes it any cooler ;-) lol
  • Not sure i am a nerd, probably a nerd hippy hybrid, but - Love star trek (was raised on TOS) - LARP (LRP for you peeps across the pond) Obsessively - Play tabletop (warmachine and necromunda) - Have nearly every studio Ghibli film on DVD, and the CD of soundtracks :-) - Listen to folk music - Was Very pleased when my OH…

  • Ahh nuts, i was doing so well yesterday, then got home from work and lo and behold....CAKE! Making cake at the demand of hungover and very hungry friends on a sunday afternoon is one thing...more fool me for not insisting they take the rest home with them to save me from myself :-( Binge monster is up 2- nil :grumble:

  • I work with elderly people and am always getting called 'a big strong girl' by them - I am tall and have a broad build so im never going to get away from that, but i would like to think 'yes, yes i am' when they say that, rather than 'thats a polite way of calling me a lump!
  • Symphonic metal :-) and....er british folk music! Feel free to add me!
  • I would love to, but i have no idea where I would do it :-( the nearest two areas with a decent amount of hard paths (rather than mud tracks and country lanes) are full of kids and their skates, I can just imagine the comments when a tubby 26 year old comes wobbling past them on blades lol
  • Im 5ft 9 and 199lb, down from 222. I have a large frame (gorrila wrists and broad shoulders- sucks to be me) Im aiming for 160-170 which seems to be at the top end of the 'normal' section of the BMI chart Relish being an amazonion woman :-)

  • You are correct on the weetabix- rectangular wheat cereal biscuity things, that go lovely and mushy with milk :-) I always use brown sugar, cos i like the taste. By gravy I mean brown meaty stuff. Do they have bisto in the US? cos if so, think Bisto. What you call white gravy i would call white sauce :-)
  • Im British, i live in Essex in the UK. My breakfast is always weetabix, a teaspoon of brown sugar and 150ml semi skimmed milk. Lunch is usually a salad when i remember to pack one for work, failing that the shop nearby does fresh lunch pots that average at around 300 cals. Dinner tends to be meat and veg, so meatloaf or…
  • I think that the 'man v. food' mentality is probably why food stocks are depleted :-) I agree in general, more people with higher calorie intake = more food consumed globally = bit of a problem as there is only enough food to go around as it is (that is if it was shared equally- and its not!) Having said that, sasquatch…
  • Done! I promise to give you a kick up the butt if you go over yer calories, please do the same for me in return :-)

  • Frisbee in the park with my other half and mates :-) if i am feeling energetic i chuck in a push up between each throw and then get up in time to catch it again. Also (nerd alert) LARP fighting- hitting each other with foam weapons may look silly, but it is a good workout and something i can more than happily spend a few…
