I gave up a lot for the results I've gotten. Processed foods, wheat in any form, sugar...and most of all my beloved Diet Coke. I love the results I am getting way more than I could ever love any of these foods!!!

I always go with a tomato base when using tuna. I use organic unsalted tomato paste and organic fat/sodium free chicken broth then load her up with veggies. When I'm done it usually has a thick consistency or I thicken with potatos as you do or more tomato paste.

Strength training would be where I'd put it.

I never said it offends me whatsoever, I really don't care...it just makes me go hmmmm....is it for attention or shock value or what, that's all nothing more nothing less.

Of course you will and it will happen faster than you think if you just stay consistent. I just started running in January. Only a mile at at time 4 days a week and never ran the full mile. I pushed myself a little harder and a little further every week. I ignored the ached and pains, yes my knees hurt, my toes hurt, my…

Is a fad diet really a bad thing when someone is obese if it is what it takes to get them started? I started with ww, then as I learned I came here and was eating 1200 calories at a deficit and plateaued, I then learned what clean eating was and how that it could help my body. The next phase was hiring a trainer to take me…

Maybe I'm old...but to me there is a difference between a bikini and lacy unmentionables.

I also ran 2 miles today at the gym without lowering my speed to take a break!!!

I have PCOS and have to eat low carb to lose. I was not losing on 100g per day so my trainer lowered it to 75g a day and I am losing again. My carbs only come from non-wheat whole grains and fruit and vegetables.

I like that it's mine and that only I can control how it looks or doesn't look...sometimes it's the only thing I have any control over in my life :)

You didn't save the food for later so you could finish it then still be even in counting your calories???

I work with a professional trainer that trains ladies for competition. In addition to weights she preaches 1 hr of cardio a day 6 days a week. Diet is 100% clean with no red meat at all. Might not be the popular advice but she makes a living training girls for stage and getting that bf% as low as humanly possible.

Why don't you make your own using organic sodium and fat free broth as a base. Chop in your fave veggies, add some form or protein you desire and simmer on the stove or in a crockpot and voila....you have your own totally sodium controlled fat freish soup!!!

If you open up your diary and let us see what you are eating we may be able to give you suggestions. You may not need foods to give you energy you may need to change the ones you are eating that are zapping your energy!

From another woman that was 240 and totally intimidated when I started, my advice is those dvd's will do you just fine starting out. You will see you body shape change if you follow them religiously. I would also recommend getting a stability ball and looking up some core strenthening moves online and adding them to your…

If it is working for you and you know this is a way of eating you want to continue for the rest of your life then run with it. If you are thinking it's just temporary till you lose weight then you can go back to your old habits then you have a problem. Do what works for you for a lifetime not a temporary fix.

I found the most amazing stuff in Maui at Christmas....36 G...I was so happy....but now it's way too big :( Anyhow I know that doesn't help you OP, but most specialty bra stores here in Alberta also carry swimwear but ti's not cheap unfortunately.

Great job!!! I eat clean and it works for my body. If I stray I'm up 5 lbs overnight it's just how my body works. For now while I am losing and have my goal in sight I can stick to it. Once I hit maintenance I will begin to experiment and see what I can re-introduce into my diet successfully.

It sure is...do some research on what the body does with booze when it processes it and you will have your "ah-ha" moment. My husband quit drinking to see if it would make a difference for him and bam...the weight started melting again. If your goal is to lose you might have to change your weekend hobbies :)

Do you exercise? It is proven that exercising in your heart rate target zone for an hour a day significantly reduces depression symptoms over medication.
