I like to end my day (and start my day) with a bowl of greek yoghurt and granola if I'm too far under calories. I could eat my weight in that! I injured my back in 2007 and was given the same advice as you. I piled on a good amount of weight and then decided to just do what I could. Walking has been my main source of weight loss. You're doing amazingly, you're dedication is inspiring!
