Saw the police and they rolled right past me...

When peaches are in season, I like to peel and sprinkle with a little cinnamon then heat in the microwave a couple of seconds. It tastes like peach pie. You could do the same with apples.

My response to her would have been, "You said it, I didn't!" And then stroll away with a little swag. She apparently had her own issues and attempted to transfer them to you. Don't sweat the small stuff… just keep doing you!

I re-gifted all my Christmas gifts, including the wrappings.

Diet Coke used to be my go to drink. However, when I made a decision to stop artificial sweeteners, I cut it out. Occasionally, I will have a some Classic Coke in a small amount. When I eat out, I have unsweetened iced tea (but I had to get there). I don't have any scientific proof, but my cravings for sweets have lessened…

I prefer In-N-Out because it's naturally delicious!

Leave now and maintain some amount of self respect and dignity. If you hang around, he'll never respect you for accepting just any old thing he throws at you. The ex girlfriend probably kicked him to the curb, which may be one reason he can't get her out of his mind. And you being everything to him sounds like it…

I'm short and wear 16P jeans. I like the straight or skinny leg styles to wear with boots. The ones that fit me best are from Avenue. I've also ordered a couple of pair from Roaman's or Jessica London when I wanted whitewashed, white or a different color. I get my nicer slacks from Macy's.

I have that same situation on my job, and cookies are my nemesis. The only way that I can deal with it effectively is to not go near the holiday table. It's difficult for me to have just one cookie. That one is a trigger, and it leads to a downward spiral. Maybe one day I'll be more in control. But for now, I just say no,…

Generally, when you join a gym you get at least one free session with a personal trainer. If you then choose to purchase a series of sessions, knowing that you don't plan to continue, you should write down things you do and learn as much as possible. It's not logical that a personal trainer will show you how to not need…

I had the most adorable Springer Spaniel that we raised from a puppy. He didn't come from a shelter, but he hated all kids, except my son, his brother. He was so cute that people would want to pet him. But he was mean as hell and would bite. It just depends on the dog.

Ask your doctor.

I wonder if this comes in different sizes and colors...

Exactly! And while I may not interact with everyone on my FL, I often enjoy reading various points of view on the threads and posts. I only delete those people that my gut tells me are clearly not in my corner and make room for others who may be. I don't want or need to be patted on the back constantly, or advised daily.…

I applied for a job at the Malibu resort about six months ago. I often read up on that resort and wonder what it would be like. How was the food?

Beachlover317... I'm flattered that you checked my profile. But what does my/our age have to do with it? Writing style, maturity, thought process, confidence? BTW... I'm impressed by your weight loss success! Why aren't we friends, at *our* age? LOL... I meant to use the quote reply feature.

Noted. However, your use of the pronoun "You" gave your list sort of a generalization feel. Had you continued with the use of "I," I never would have commented. Good luck!

This may be *your* experience, but it's not the same for everyone who loses a significant amount of weight.

IMHO... There are many people who are confident in whatever "skin" they are in. I guess I'm more of a glass half full type because I'm more impressed by her 160 lb. weight loss than I am pitiful about her excess skin. "Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all!"

In order to increase my water intake (and to help me feel full and eat less), I commit to drink a glass of water before every meal, including snacks.

Thanks, Shawn! That was good information. I have a planned lunch with a friend next weekend, and now I don't have to stress about what to eat or not eat! And Thanksgiving is covered too! I'm feeling this challenge! :flowerforyou:

I bought a new Lifefactory water bottle after work today. It was expensive, but I've been wanting one for a long time!

I'm up at 5 a.m. and at the gym by 6 a.m. I always have something very light (i.e., 1/4 cup of yogurt w/a bite of fruit , 1/2 cup of coffee and a cup of water). I eat my breakfast meal after my workout around 7 a.m. I'm a breakfast person.

Tupelo is my favorite!

I actually prefer about 1/2 teaspoon of Agave Nectar on my oatmeal. I just need a hint of sweet.

Heck no! I believe that she was identifying with people like *some* of us who want to make changes for the better in our health. Those people who are happy in their skin should not have even been concerned with the comment and photo. Instead, they cried foul because deep down, I believe they really aren't happy and for…

Check Kohl's and J.C. Penney.

Kohl's carries the Jennifer Lopez label, which offers plus sizes in fashionable styles!

I didn't read all the replies, but when I read the original post, it immediately reminded me of a friend who has recently lost about 40 pounds. She was probably around 170 tops and never seemed to be overweight to me. She is about 5'8" and a young 60 years old. She always wanted to be thin (her college weight). Well, I can…
