Hi all! I'm Cynthia and I've been reading about 21 day fix and binge watching youtube videos for a few days. I've tried so many things, but I'm thinking this might be the missing link. I need something new. I'm trying to decide if I should just purchase the 21 day fix essential pack and add on the super sample Shakeology…

Check your local YMCA for classes.

Did you have a "screw me today" note taped to your back? No, seriously... I've spent a lot of money on personal training over the years, and I'm still fat. :ohwell: But I feel good! Don't get me wrong, I think hiring a personal trainer can be a great thing, especially for accountability, push and sometimes just to…

Just decide where you want to weigh and just stick with that spot all the time.

This sounds like a confession to me.

My August goal is to wade through all this information and start Stronglifts 5x5! For so long I've wanted to be confident enough to strength train without a personal trainer. This is the month I do it! Right now I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with all the terminology and abbreviations, but I'm going to push through and…

OP… Will you marry me? Thank you!

And this right here is why I'm not giving up chocolate!

I work out in the morning before work because I usually have other errands to run after work or just want to get home to cook and relax. My weekday goal is four days and it's easy to get some work in on the weekend when I don't have to be up so early. This gives me a day or two to rest during the week and sleep an extra…

I love spinning and biking, and I like boxing. I also hope to start running one day. You have to find something that you like to do, and do that. A lot of people enjoy Zumba, and it can be a great, fun workout. Maybe take up tennis, running or swimming. Your local Y should have group classes, too. There are lots of other…

Whole Foods carries a wine flavor gelato. That's what I'm talking about!

My body is often achy after working out, but not really in my joints (although my knees will hurt if I do the wrong thing). I don't do Zumba because my knees can't handle the twists. When I party too hard, I'm sore the next day. I take two Advil. BAM! The foam roller, steam room, jacuzzi, or massage also help me.

My neighbors pit can't control her licker!

With 2 Tbsp. of International Delight (I like almond joy and sweet cream flavors) in 2-2.5 cups. ID does not list high fructose syrup, as does Coffeemate. I eliminated the raw cane sugar about a year ago.

Fortunately, or unfortunately, however you choose to look at it, kids today are using iPads from birth. An eight year old doesn't want a phone just to use in case of emergency. He wants to mainly play games. I would check with the carrier to see what they recommend that's age appropriate.

If you're talking about my post, I believe I said focus on strength and toning, as in the result from strength training. I said nothing about a toning exercise. Don't put words in my sentences. But if you weren't talking about my post, same thing...

Maybe you could try working with a personal trainer for at least 30 days and see if you notice any changes. Don't focus so much on the number on the scale. Focus on strength and toning.

I really don't mean to offend, but it seems you have more issues than "autoimmune and progesterone deficiency." If this post is an example of how you express yourself as you "support" your friends, I would drop you too. You can't bully people into liking you. And who died and left you in charge of labeling people "weird"…

This is where I purchased mine. It is a good price, and you can order a larger strap. http://www.bodytronics.com/p/polar_heart_rate_monitors/POFT60

I have one for accountability purpose. My trainer pushes me farther than I would go on my own. I've had several throughout the years--some good, some not so good. It's important for me to work with someone who connects with my needs. It can be pretty expensive, especially if you're planning for long-term. If you are…

I say, "I love you," to my best girlfriend from childhood. She often says it to me first. We don't always see eye-to-eye, but we are truly soul sisters. I will say it to a couple of other close girlfriends, but they also mostly say it first, and I say it back. I try not to say it to my male "friends," although I have loved…

Single lady here! I don't ask those questions point blank. However, during the early conversation, I do manage to find out what type of work he does and in what general area of the city he lives. I never ask about his car. I always ask if he's married though, because anything other than single *is* an instant deal breaker!
