    Speaking of which, has anyone tried Haagen Dazs and Breyer's gelato? How do they compare?


    Haven't had Haagen Dazs gelato, but tried theBreyer's gelato (local grocery store had a BOGO on it). I tried it and gave to my sister for the kids. Wasn't even in the same hemisphere as Talenti! :cry:

    I like Talenti just fine, but in my opinion, Haagen Dazs is way better than Talenti. It's got a thicker, creamier texture and taste.


    Well Haagen Dazs is now on my grocery list! :love:

    I agree. HD's sea salt caramel is really sweet, but that turns out to be okay for me now and again because I tend to eat way smaller portions of it due to the sweetness of it. Personally I love the cappucino and tiramisu but since you aren't into coffee flavors...

    black cherry amaretto
    dark chocolate chip (very rich and sweet, though. I eat it in very small portions)
    limoncello


    Here are their other flavors, but I haven't tried these yet:
    caramelized banana chip
    pistachio
    pomegranate swirl


    The thing Talenti has over HD, I have to say, is the variety.

    Oh I just thought of something, OP! You could but Target's Archer Farms brand of gelato instead. It comes in containers that are much more easily stacked (they're oval and squat). Bonus: you can eat more because they're less calories a serving.

    Instructions how to use appetite suppressing candles


    The instructions for burning these candles as appetite suppressants number one through four: basically what you’re doing is misdirecting your behavior (not your stomach but your mouth and mind) with the burning of these; also be sure that you are not bored, but instead have something to do. Step number two is to get rid of any snacks( ICE CREAM) that may be sitting directly in front of you or within your reach. Thirdly, wherever you spend the most time is a great place to have a peppermint or cinnamon scented candle or oil; it will help reduce hunger while you work or spend your time. Finally, if you must snack do it healthfully.

    I was actually supposed to go this weekend to Target to pick up ice creams. In another ice cream thread I'm in there have been a couple reviews on some great flavors they have like a popcorn one. Sounds amazing.

    In case anyone is interested, here's the thread. And for those who just can't understand how we do what we do, look at the fitness level of a lot of the participants in the thread. From average Joes to elite stage competitors.

    I really like the lemon meringue flavor. It's topped with little chips that at first glace look like white chocolate but are actually meringue!

    I went to that all-you-can-eat ice cream fundraiser I told you about and found a brand I really liked (Trickling Springs), but they only had the bigger size at the store. My issue is that I only have room for a pint. :sad: I know the feels, bro. And, uh, who in their right mind would buy a candle that would keep them from eating ice cream?!

    Haven't had Haagen Dazs gelato, but tried theBreyer's gelato (local grocery store had a BOGO on it). I tried it and gave to my sister for the kids. Wasn't even in the same hemisphere as Talenti! :cry:

    I like Talenti just fine, but in my opinion, Haagen Dazs is way better than Talenti. It's got a thicker, creamier texture and taste.

    I've asked this before and no one has given me any ideas-- I tried the salted caramel HD and it was way too sweet. And I don't like coffee flavored ice cream. So what flavor would you recommend?
    I LOVE the salted caramel. I keep saying I want to try a different kind but when I get there my hand just grabs it:laugh:
