  • You are probably a gym rat if you spend that long on an elliptical. So let's assume you know what the usual gym and sweat smells are. This was clearly different and rude people don't need to stalk your post and insult your intelligence to make themselves sound smarter. It is a hygiene issue. I would've honestly moved to…
  • $100 to $150, depending on extras, toiletries, etc. Lots of fresh fruits, veggies, lean proteins, and a little dairy. Two adults.
  • Wear whatever you want, then keep it on your own computer. You want to post of a public blog, wear clothes, not underwear. Sheesh, common sense.
  • Jay Robb. 25 grams of protein, 0-fat, 0-cholesterol, 0-sugars, and only 1 gram of carbohydrate per 30 gram serving. Cold-processed cross-flow microfiltered whey protein isolate is used as the protein source and this material comes from farm-raised, pasture-grazed, grass-fed cows not treated with the synthetic bovine growth…
  • I take it. It is an appetite suppressant and works fine for me. I take 1/2 a pill a day. A full pill causes jitters for me.
  • I ordered this one as well after reading all the reviews and the customer service of Eat Smart. Can't wait for it to arrive. My health o meter is wonky.

  • I drink 128 oz/day at least. I have a 32 oz water bottle and drink 4 of those/day. I read somewhere you are supposed to drink 1/2 your body weight in oz. I don't know about that but I do know that if I drink much less than the usual 128 oz, I feel sluggish and tired.
  • Dump him. I would've been mortified and he clearly did not take her feelings into consideration when making his public statement. They are clearly on two different paths. It is less about marriage at this point and more about him living in the past and holding her accountable for the deeds/misdeeds of a former…
  • You eat 600 calories and burn 800 calories for a net of -200 calories for the day? I am surprised you can function enough to type? Our bodies need a minimum amount of calories for basic functions (walking, talking, thinking, etc) and you are in a calorie deficit of 200 calories. Wow. You need to find out what your BMR is,…
  • You can give 100 more examples and you are still going to get self-righteous opinions. Teen boys eat whatever they see it sight. They eat constantly and whatever is easy. They are instant gratifiers with disregard for whose ever food they are eating. They just don't care they are eating your post workout snack, mom will…
  • THIS!!!!!!!!! I work in computers, but no means am a guru!
  • You can edit your profile goals to your own preferred calorie goal, whatever that is (your choice, I won't judge....like others). Keep your food diary, then enter your exercises under the Exercise tab. Your food diary will automatically update with the calories you are allowed to consume. It you burn 1000 calories and log…
  • I have the Droid 2. And yes, all smartphones require a data plan of $30 a month. My next upgrade will be to the RAZR. My problem with my phone is the touch screen goes haywire and I have to take the battery out to reboot it.
  • I also like the idea of a food processor. Or can you submit the receipt for your shoes for a refund? Do you have an MP3 for running? The massage is cool too, but then it is gone and you can't use it again. I find I am always in need of sports bras, so clothes is a good option too. It is the gift that keeps on giving. A BPA…
  • You think? Seems like people are answering the OP of would you marry outside your religion.
  • Beautifully said. FREE WILL!!! I love the concept!
  • I was not raised in an organized religion and neither was my husband. But I have always been inquisitive of other people's religion. I find the topic and differences fascinating. It sounds like you have a specific opinion and he has his own and neither of you were willing to compromise. So it sounds to me like love did not…
  • I'm confused. Nothing to eat for the meeting? Or nothing to eat diet friendly for you?
  • My vote is the waterpik. But I think it is funny they won't give you a grocery card and assume you are buying healthy things, but they will assume you are buying healthy from Subway.
  • OMG, thank you for this post! I was laughing out loud the whole time I read it! It was such an insulting encounter, but your humor in how you recounted the showdown was priceless!. I am so proud of you for entering the strength training area of the gym. That has to be the most intimidating area due to all the meatheads.…
  • This will be very uninspired, but I marinate and grill chicken breasts, or other meat, on Sunday and use it all week in lunches and dinners. I cook my veggies fresh for dinners. I also use a crock pot a lot on Sundays. You can do a whole roast, short ribs, etc, and portion them out for the week.
  • What good is weight loss and living healthy if you don't think you deserve it or can enjoy it? I read a great blog recently Does the Fat Girl Ever Leave? It was about this girl who was formally overweight and struggled with her new healthy body image. Although she was fit, she still struggled with old fat girl thoughts.…
  • Here is another great website, http://www.primal-palate.com/ Mark's Daily Apple has free downloads when you sign up for an account. They are very informative. The Primal Blueprint from Mark's Daily Apple is also more of a lifestyle with the diet. Includes 10 principles for living, like getting some sun everyday, lifting…
  • Amen, Amen, Amen! Print out the OSHA requirements someone else posted earlier. Ask your boss for a meeting. Point this out to him and discuss your new journey to a healthy lifestyle. Ask for his support regarding lunches and necessary bathroom breaks. Clearly, he doesn't believe you are JUST using the bathroom.…
  • Larabar. All natural, GMO free, gluten free, dairy free, organic and kosher. Love them.
  • 1. People distracting my trainer during MY PAID HOUR 2. Certain demographics of people that walk the track with their cane, walker, and oxygen tanks.
  • I thought this too. I could care less what section you buy your jeans in Tina. Welcome to this journey and good luck with your goals!
  • What everyone else said. Connect with more people to get more Friends. Search the Groups to find one similar with your interets and join it. Maybe a group with the same diet you are on, or the same geographical area, or a mutual hobby, or your age group, the possibilities of the Groups are endless. You gotta reach out for…
  • Don't deprive yourself while overcoming that old demon. Have a burrito bowl instead of the tortilla. It becomes a fork meal and slows down the eating. If you really want to make changes, have lettuce instead of rice and/or skip the sour cream and cheese. But making a simple switch to the burrito bowl is a success! I LOVE…
