People talk. It's what they do. So let them talk. Listen to your body and do what you know is best for you (assuming no ED). Live life how you want. As they say, "Haters gonna hate!"

One thing I would add to my earlier post is that HRMs are really only good for measuring calories during periods of exertion. So if most of the 4 hours is spent at a low heart rate (as I can only imagine it is), then I would say the reading is completely rubbish and you may just ignore the calorie calculations completely.…

Go cook with your grandmother. I learned so much from cooking with mine and I miss them dearly. You may also discover some oils and sugar you didn't know about. You don't have to tell your grandmother to cook differently, but you can adjust your portions accordingly. But really, go in the kitchen and tell her you want to…

My nonexpert suggestion is to log what is on your HRM but don't automatically eat back all your exercise calories. The only real issue with logging them wrong is if you plan to eat them back. Experiment with eating some or none of them back and see how your body reacts. Ive read many say they eat 50% back but I personally…

I had a plateau for a couple days this summer and I just stuck to my plan minus a couple hundred calories and exercised vigorosly. Then the plateau was over. Most of the old wives tales you read here are just that. Lower intake and higher burn is only solution. But if you want, you can sleep with a spoon under your pillow.

Nasty. I prefer black tea and in particular Chai with the extra spices.

Glad you enjoyed it.

I add them to my spinach wrap I eat daily for lunch. I mix it in the roasted red pepper hummus I make. I can imagine some people (my husband included) don't like the taste. But I like the nuttiness in combination with other flavors. I wouldn't want it to be the only flavor in my dish. Always grind it and keep it in the…

Cook your own food. Use delicious flavors instead of salt. For example curry is a very strong flavor. Garlic and onions.

I'm far from 20 but I learned to cook long before 20. Here's my best hint about cooking: just do it! Try. Throw it away if it's bad. Don't be so afraid to cook you never try. I'd watch a few episodes of Food Network like Barefoot Contessa (I've got all her cookbooks!) also Paula Dean's unhealthy recipes on her shows can…

My trainer said when I do situps he doesn't see my stomach in the way anymore and I was rocking 40 situps when I struggled before to do 15.

I've had the soup but not done th diet. I love cabbage so it was very good. No clue what th diet entails but gimmicks never last so why bother if you are looking for a real solution.

See a doctor.

Cheap and healthy. Sounds like two things that make a good date!
-
This^^^^ Acknowledge it is an issue for you and try to plan for it in advance by being extra healthy during the week. Then it won't have the same effects. And as you learn to moderate the bad behavior, you will be better during the week and weekend and speed up your progress!

Not raw. Just not over cooked. Cut them in half. Spray them with a fine mist of olive oil or cooking spray. Add salt and fresh cracked pepper and maybe garlic powder. Cook in the oven in a single layer on 375ish until the edges start to get a little crisp (Not black!) which is about 35 minutes maybe. Note that this does…

Most likely. I've seen it there before. But in NYC we don't have a wal mart. I don't think Kale is going to be the answer you are hoping for. Fresh Baby spinach is easy and I eat it daily with carrots on a wrap. I couldn't live without it.

I drink it black. But I think if you do some research on how to brew coffee and buy fresh beans and grind them yourself, you may realize you don't need the added stuff. But maybe not. I just know I really enjoy my coffee black but only after I learned to do it right. And different beans really taste different especially…

Kale has a very distinct flavor and is very crunchy like. I like it, but it's not the easiest to grab and get right in my experience.

I really like cabbage and Brussel sprouts. Brussel sprouts when fresh and not over cooked are VERY tasty. My husband disagrees but he does like them better roasted than over cooked like so many others do!

This^^^^ But I would add it is STILL an accomplishment and it still counts. Good luck on the beginning of your journey!

This^^^^^ And I looked at your pictures. You are ALREADY beautiful so even if it takes a little longer than you hoped to get to your goal, the good news is you are already attractive! And go curl up in the arms of your man. Seems like he's with you and a good man is hard to ignore!

You want to be blurry and out of focus? :flowerforyou:

How about call your doctor for some more medically reliable information?

Junk bound to be a fad.

Tell them you are crazy. Crazy determined to get where you want to be and stay there!

Seems to be enjoying having his picture taken at the SE corner of Central Park in NYC.

I get sick working out if the temperature is too cold or if I drink water that's too cold. So take a look at these other factors too. I prefer to be on the warmer side and drink room temperature water to keep me going.
