Hi, I'm 33, about to be 34, and I have a 1 year old. I'm at my heaviest at 243 (5'6") and need to lose 100lbs! Let's do this ladies!!!

please add me also! CW: 207 lbs GW: 150? (not quite sure). I was at 218 then lost weight all the way down to 160 but gained it back :/ so I'm trying to see what I did wrong and establish some lifestyle goals.

thanks for the reply! Do you know how long you can keep them in the freezer before they go bad? I always oven bake mine and they are so tasty, but it does take a while to make them so freezing would be great. I agree - there are so many uses!

Thanks Guys! I'll try the weights first, then cardio after and see how I feel at the 2 week mark. if it doesn't work out, I'll have to suck it up and just work out more frequently. really appreciate the suggestions!

I'm mostly looking to burn fat (killing the muffin top) but I know that's more complicated than just doing cardio.

try it your way and see how it goes - keep track of how you are doing. if it works, keep it, if you aren't getting the results you want, maybe cut back or substitute it (I don't know how many you drink a day) but substitute 1 of the sodas for a lighter drink - I used crystal light packs and they helped. everyone's…

Original goal was 150, but I might go down to 145 or 140 depending on how I feel and look. I'm also shooting for a 25% body fat though so that will trump my weight goals.

I'm in the same spot too! I've been good all week and have trouble on the weekends. I've noticed that my routines on the weekends are different - wake up at a different time, and I don't plan those meals. And I don't have my snacks on hand when I'm hungry so I'm more likely to splurge. Also interested in seeing…

Me too! Currently at 160, started at 218 ( a long time ago!). Keep up the great work!

Theres a tumblr blog called "reasons to be fit" check it out - there are all kinds of reasons on there with motivating pictures. Maybe one of them jumps at you as a response. I think it's a mix: people don't want to be mean and say you should lose weight, but they can't handle when someone is changing before their eyes.…

Hi, I've been wanting to do Paleo for a while and would like to join you in the challenge. I'm still reading the Paleo diet book and getting more information ( I listen to Rob Wolfe's podcast regularly). So any more details you can supply would be great! Cheers, Maria

hmmm, good suggestion on the edammame...I love that stuff!

Thank you for sharing! I think one of the things to add is that you have to get to know your body and how it responds to things, like particular foods or exercises. There's no 1 size fits all for diets. Or workouts. It may work for a lot of people, but not all. Find what you like, keep tweaking and keep going.

Don't stop doing what you are doing! It takes a long time to notice a difference in yourself. Sometimes even if it's there you still won't notice it. Congrats on the 12 lbs. A few suggestions that may help: Take a pic every 2 weeks - when you put them side by side after a few months you can notice it You gotta like what…

Hi good luck! I have about 7 lbs I want to lose until Dec 10th, so we'll see! Here are 3 tips: 1. Get rid of liquid calories (sodas, juices) - go for water or crystal light 2. Make the dinner carbs come from veggies instead of breads (i.e. instead of a chicken sandwich do grilled chicken w/ veggies) 3. Have a cheat meal…

A couple of other things might help: 1.) Sleep? this one is hard - try to get a few really good night's sleep in during the week - it's hard for alot of people but that might be it. 2.) if you recently stopped eating certain things like soda, or reduced your caffeine intake, you may just be in a slump for now where your…
