  • Today I did the penultimate run of the c25k and after tomorrow's rest day will be my final run. All but one of my runs were on a treadmill at the gym. When I started the app I was smoking nearly 20 a day but I'm smoke free and nearly running 5k in a few weeks, it's really the best thing I've ever done. I surprised myself…
  • Thanks for all the responses :) It's good to hear from other people who have had to quit, not many people I know smoke and sometimes it can be hard for them to understand how much of a challenge this is going to be. I am excited to reap all of the benefits, though! My cessation appointment is next Wednesday, I shall update…
  • Thank you for your replies, I do feel ever so slightly better about it now! I think I will try to reduce to one teaspoon per cup and see how I get on with that. I guess the calories could be spent on something more nutritious and fulfilling, seeing as one cup with milk and two sugars = 40 calories, over a day it really…
  • This is what I was going to say! I can't wear them for longer than ten minutes because they make my feet numb! I thought I must have tied the laces too tight, but even walking around the house with the untied my feet were tingly and numb. Waste of money!
  • I'm 4'11" and currently 125. My goal is 112 but I think I'll probably want to go lower as I definitely have more fat to lose.
  • I did it, on and off, a few months ago. Every time I lost weight, a few pounds at least. I don't think I ever completed a full week as it's so restrictive, but it definitely helped to kick me back into the zone/helped me adjust to eating less. I don't think it's very healthy at all but you'll definitely lose weight.
  • Thank you for your answers. I struggle to see the weight loss myself, even though I do get more comments now. Hopefully this will make things a bit nicer/easier for me :)
  • Yes, definitely. I find my feet ache less when standing up for long periods of time, too.
  • I've lost about 25lb whilst being on the depo injection. I hold all of my weight around my middle, and finding it to be the last place I am losing weight from, does the depo shot actually make a difference to bloating/storing fat etc??
  • I'm 4 foot 11 too. It is hard because my goal weight seems drastically lower than that of my friends who are taller. I'm currently 128 and think I have at LEAST 10lbs more to lose before I even think about a goal weight.
