I am having the same problem. Looks like no one knows what to do.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Amazing!

^^^^THIS^^^^^ I do the same thing. On Sunday's after grocery shopping I boil my eggs for the week, Bake a few days worth of Chicken, Chop all my veggies. Make my fat free greek yogurt mixed with Ranch seasoning dip for the week (for my veggies) and also pretty much plan my meals for the week. It is work but it is worth it…

I put on 3-6 pounds during that time. It usually comes off within a week of it ending. Drink lots of water. Most of it is water retention.

I took a glance at your diary. You might want to try to cut out processed foods as much as you can. I try to do 70/30. Try to eat more one ingredient food like Tuna, Chicken, Lettuce, Banana, Apple, Almonds, lean beef, Veggies, etc.. I found the more I cooked at home. Measured and weighed everything I log and try to stay…

30 Day shred with my HRM only burned around 200 calories.

Really? People are just sharing opinions and you respond with a stfu. Classy.

I think the key here is if the person eating 1200 is working out or not. If they are not working out and depending on just food intake to lose weight then I can understand 1200. If they are active at all (meaning more than a person laying in a vegetative state) then they should be eating more. So yes 1200 can work for…

I am in with you! Because this is for life.

I am 40 and hypo. I am on medication. Medication alone won't make you lose weight. For me the medication allowed me to regulate my thyroid so I could lose weight. To lose I have to stay away from processed foods as much as possible. Upped my protein, count every calorie, and work out 6 days a week for a minimum of 50…

You look totally different. Congrats!

Thank you for posting. You are doing so great. The scale does not tell the whole story. Pictures or measuring weekly is more important and more motivating. Congrats!
-
Congratulations!!!!! That is awesome!

HRM is more accurate but you need to minus from it what you would normally burn if you were doing nothing. Someone on here once told me to minus 15 or 20% and enter that as my calorie burn. That would give you around 880 calorie burn. Which is probably more realistic than the MFP. I don't get anti HRM comments either. I…

I did not lose weight for over 2 months but was losing a half inch to an inch a week. Then the weight slowly followed after that.

I only have one day that I feel like this. Rest days. Exercise actually helps with hunger. When I work out I don't get the starving feeling unless I have not had enough water.
-
Congrats on your weight loss!!! I totally understand what you are saying. Have had the same exact thoughts. What I do is just the best I can. When I am home it is easier for me to be obsessive if that is what it is called. LOL! Count and measure everything. But I have learned to let go when I am on vacation or out to…

I love P90X. Had the best results with that one and I own a lot. Have 30 day Shred, slim in 6, Turbo Fire, booty boot camp, Zumba etc... Out of all of them P90X is my favorite.

Mine is open. I am set at 1300 a day but eat more like 1500-1800 because I eat my exercise calories back.
-
:grumble: I seriously don't understand if you are on MFP, using MFP, and then get on MFP Forums to argue against basically MFP. It makes me scratch my head. You are using a system that sets you at a deficiet and then tells you to eat back your exercise calories but then you get on forums to argue about the very system you…

I work out at home only. P90X, Slim in 6, Turbo Fire, and just ordered Brazilian Butt Lift. So far P90X is my favorite. I get bored. Instead of doing a program I use a combination of them all. I do whatever I am in the mood to do. Most days I miss Tony so I tend to do a lot more P90X.

I am the opposite. Instead of being sad I say GOOD FOR THEM! Then I say a little prayer for them on their journey and hope for their success.

Measure. That is what helps me stay motivated:) I would rather see inches come off and fit into smaller clothes than worry about the number on the scale. Good Luck!!
-
I am 5'5 and set at 1350. BUT! That is what I eat if I don't work out or basically move all day. I eat almost all my exercise calories back. So depending on the day I am eating 1500-1800. Some days more! The harder I work out, the more active I am, the more I get to eat! This helps me maintain muscle. I feel great. I don't…

Welcome!!!

I went through this. I was measuring weekly and logging. Losing a half inch to an inch a week but the scale was not moving! Did not move for 2.5 months. Now it is slowly going down. I was mainly doing treadmill walking and running during that time. I started doing P90X and Turbo Fire. I am not sure if that was what got me…

I was the same way when I started out. So out of shape it took me 55 minutes to walk two miles! You might want to stick with Turbo Jam. Just keep doing what you can and every day you will be able to do a little more. When I first started P90X I could not get through the cardio workouts. I would push myself a little more…

I am Hypo. On medication and get it checked every 6 months. Even though I am testing normal now on the medication it did not mean weight just started falling off. I just stayed the same. What I have found out is that I have to count every calorie and exercise at least 50 minutes a day min. Very jealous of the people that…
